No surprise that MS has disappeared just as he has appeared... actually, it's unfortunate that he doesn't bother with a final contribution and summary...
Then again, some guys simply aren't cut out for this - I have a friend, well more an acquaintance, who manages to drag his particular form of depressiveness and negativity with him wherever he goes. He's had a good time on his first trip, that I helped him get situated on, but subsequently has reverted back to his usual ways, guaranteeing himself a most miserable time.
I don't actually give a crap, and even the girls that know him, always greet me with "where is your friend who never smile and always make sad face" (while they pantomime his expression).
You simply can't help such guys.

I actually read all 40 of the pages...I think I was expecting some kind of happy ending. What I got was pretty fail though. I think he should lose 100-150 pounds and try again. At his weight he could probably do that in a year...
Also, I'm not too depressed that he didn't give a final report...I am pretty sure you'd have to take everything he said with a grain of salt...

A major problem was he is deaf. It would be real hard to understand what is going on with the girls, and have fun if you can't hear them.

The problem, as I saw it after his first couple of posts (in different new threads) was that massageslave sought too much info, too much guidance, asked too many questions, looked for too many answers and, in a bizarre outturn, BTF's overeager bros simply responded in ample measure (maybe because of what was perceived as a handicap). Result : he got keyed up, tensed himself up to play the role of a typical BTF member and, at every turn of the street, he expected his trip to unfold like the story he had come to believe would come true for him.
If he had seriously read the many precious field reports and perspectives that are available on BTF, instead of throwing hundreds of questions here, massageslave, I am sure, would have had an enjoyable trip.

I am glad I went to BKK after going all over the world for 20+ years,
If I had visited BKK as my first trip it would have been overwelming, and I think that was the problem with MS along with being deaf and 100 pounds overweight.
Too much info gets confusing too when you have no basis to know whats right or wrong,
I hope one day he writes a Field Report just so we know how it went and hopefully it will help other first timers learn some of the hazards,
