I know I made all the classic errors on my first trip...Patpong, ripped off on drinks, took a girl already in street clothes, overpaid, and the list goes on...

Why so recent?
Mine would be 15-16 years old for LOS (and older than that for PI, because I used to visit there before I came to LOS) & I know many others would be even older posts because when I first found this site (and you did not need to be a member to view it) there were a lot of members posting then who had been coming to LOS long before me.
Sadly you don't see many of the old members anymore. I guess they are dead or just not bothered anymore. I go through phases and a lot of the time I can't be bothered posting anymore now that I live in LOS, I'm settled with a family and other things to do with my life.
Anyway I have some memories from those days and feel less inhibited about posting about those times because Mrs Shreddie was not on the scene then... so I may be up for it. But I'm sure my stories would be tame compared to many on here.
I'll see what happens and search my memory for some tales to see if I have anything interesting to share.

I think it's a great idea....kinda like the first astronauts so newbies can get a sense of what went before from guys like Expatchuck....and those dated 70s or earlier....into the mid 70s and earlY 80s...Doc Love....into my time...and 90s and beyond.
Landscape...services..hotels...bars...girls...costs...etc
Who here can remember an elephant truck slobbering on your neck in some bar after a girl places a bought banana piece on your head, without you knowing the animal is behind you.?
Older bar girls rubbing baby powder on their faces when you walked in?
When 500 baht got you a long time in themaes?
We need to get these stories out there.
Each can be announced with a date reference.
What in affect being proposed is Biblical...
Our ancient stories....complete with lessons and tales.....
Glad senior guys here are on board....it will be an historical, tongue in cheek..account of the metamorphosis of not just p4p in Thailand...but the changes from there to now in all areas of life associated.
Let's get it going soon
