I was on the phone to my Teerac last night and she called me Pi Bah, I got her to sms this to me so I could read it, I know the word Bah means crazy I think but " Pi Bah" I asked her what it was she wouldnt tell me and was laughing about it.
She said it was a nice word, Ive never heard it before.
Over to you guys who speak Thai, much thanks.

'Pee' has in this case nothing to do with 'older brother/sister'.
It's a common term for crazy or psychotic people.... like being obsessed by ghosts... that's where this 'pi' stands for....

Pi Bah is a common term, just like 'Pi Lok' to indicate scary people or a scary situation.

Amazing the variation a rising tone on a single word can make in the Thai language...
I won't say Dr L is wrong but my vote is more with Local Y
She was calling you...."slightly older crazy person"....she said it was a nice word.....and the demonic possession version sure ain't a nice thing for the TGF to say to you....Enjoy.

Pee bah is a very common derogatory expression normally used amongst country Thais and means someone mad, as if possessed by spirits or ghosts. It can be serious or playful.
Just as either close friends or enemies might call each other 'Ai bah' or 'Pee bah'. Though someone not a close friend should not, unless you want trouble.
A real lunatic may be referred to as pee bah too, again, as a madman, like one possessed. Such a person would probably not know that anyone called them anything, so there is no offense assumed.
Now... I believe this was what your girlfriend called you, teasing you as women do, as lovers do, as those who are close do.
There is a chance that she was saying 'Pi, bah' as in 'Older brother, you're crazy'. But I think in that case, she would have been more likely to say, 'Pi bpen bah!' which would seem a more common structure in that context. However it's still possible, which would justify Local Yokal's explanation.
Nonetheless, because 'Pee bah' as I have defined it above is such a common expression, I would feel sure that you have just been called a lunatic possessed.... in a joking familiar way.
