I had a bit of an odd experience returning to Cupidy last November. I walked in with a group of friends and of course we were quoted some ridiculous price and I just laughed and said "1800 bhat, I know the price." The Papasan said "sure, I remember you from before" and I just sort of shrugged and picked a girl and had a fairly average session. I came back down and the same man insisted he in fact did remember me from my visit about 6 - 7 months before which again I dismissed. He continued to insist, "you came alone and taxi dropped you off at Prince Hotel" which is precisely what happened. I was floored. I am still not sure if I believe him.

Hahaha... it is now well known to Taxi cabs and Papasans that people ask to be dropped off at the prince hotel when going to Cupidy.
Prince hotel is like the Grace, they cater to Arabic Clientele, so you're obviously not staying there

Hmm, worth investigation to confirm the actual pricing. Reason is a MP that I frequent quite regularly has just upped their prices and it would not be out of line for the same to take place here. Just a thought before blasting at the papasans.

I agree with NicFrenchy. My last time in BKK, I told the taxi driver that I was tired and going back to my room at the Prince to get some sleep (in Thai). He laughed his head off and took me to a hotel that was 2 miles away. Heck, I was only a mile away from Cupidy when I stepped inside the taxi. He knew I was lying!
I've had some of my best times at Cupidy. There are some real hotties at times, and some of them must certainly give the best soapy of anybody.
So... it seems odd that we only talk about price when it comes to Cupidy. Many lesser places charge much more. Why so much obsession with Cupidy's price?
Just asking if we can somehow make the topic more interesting.

Bub, maybe the reason the Cupidy thread is so obsessed with prices is due to the papasans' attitudes about prices. My experiences there may be too typical. After reading numerous BTF posters' comments about 1800 and 2200 being the "real" prices; then going into Cupidy, more than once, and each time being confronted by demands for 3 or 4 thousand, and unfriendly attitudes, each time I did not even buy a drink, but just looked at the (attractive) ladies, and walked out. So I have no more interesting reports to write about Cupidy, unfortunately.

Yeah, Cupidy is a bust in my book.
As someone said in a previous thread, much better value and treatment can be found down Petchiburi Road at Avita, Nancy and Meree.

All the reports about the papasans attitude are the reason why I never bothered going to Cupidy, there are too many other options avalaible to loose time going to one place where one is almost sure to have troubles and get scammed.
