So priceless are the living-dead comments from morons who continue to insist that Woodstock had “great” burgers. Woodstock’s burgers were always complete shit.
Ever wonder why Woodstock’s burgers would always arrive at your table within 90 seconds of placing your order? Because, morons, they were pre-cooked and kept warm on the side of the grill. Depending on what time of the afternoon or evening you ordered it, it might have been cooked hours earlier, if not the day before. That’s not to mention that lethal mixture of sawdust and scooped from the booth-cracks black pepper they were larded with -- always the truest tell that chef knows just how rancid his meat had become.
As to the mudflap rubber that passes for burgermeat at the Nana cart, I wouldn’t paint Serpico’s picture on one and bolt it to the rear end of Daddy’s samlor. Mystery nuggets, cast-iron gristle-bits and half an gallon on Crisco might make for a party at Eden, but not a burger, or anything else worth burning on bile and reflux backwash in Satan’s flaming lake for.
Gulliver’s burgers were ok when they first opened, but have now gone the way of all wood-shingle roofing materials. The Great Oakland Hills Fire of 1992 had better char-boiled seasoning.
Piri-Piri’s Flaming Chicken restaurant on the top level of Emporium, near the Crabtree and Evelyn kiosk, does a 160b bacon-cheese that’s not too heinous, but “great” burgers in Bangkok? Sorry, but as anyone who even half-remembers what a Fatburger or an Astro-burger tastes like knows, there aren’t any.

Best Burgers I have had are at Dons cafe in rawai Phuket, nice big juicey american style burger with chips and a salad garnish for 115b.
So good I even take away the pate's and BBQ them myself for an even better finale
