Tech posts do get mixed in the main forum... I point these out to BK when I see them but some times they get in a regular thread and the iDuck and his minions have to reply.
For example I could post in this thread the news that last year Samsumg sold more phones than APPL and someone will come up with a response defending APPL.
As for lurking, most of us old hands have done and seen everything BKK has to offer so we do not have to ask were the best bbbj or soapy can be had. As for the newbies, most of what they ask can be found by searching the forum and in the rare case that a new venue is opened or a new issue arises the lurking 'old hands' will come out of the shadows to give advice or provide an opinion.
In the old days the majority of posts dealt with all aspects of nightlife and travel in Thailand from what was the best clubs/restaurants to where to go for a good haircut. The girls and the sex was incidental to the overall discussion of living the good life in LOS.
Today most the content posted here is self-serving crap where punters are patting themselves on the back for being 'studs' with paid women.
That is why I post mostly in the 'Z' where we ponder if Ancient India had nuclear weapons and if Quantum Theory allows for time travel.... it is a hell of a lot better than reading the zillionth post of how some fat Farang banged the shit out of a girl young enough to be his daughter...

You can never get an accurate number, as many of his posts have been deleted. His current post count is 5,228, but the counter keeps track of posts in the main forum, Z forum, pattaya forum and CW forum. If you were to search for the number of threads that he had created and posted into, you'd get over 1,000 threads. Remember, each thread may contain multiple posts.
