Am I the only one that is getting discouraged by the quality of this forum? It seems like too many threads are being started glorifying a certain American tech company and not enough focus on Thailand's finest contributions to mankind.

Back on topic:
BK, Why are Daffy Ducks spam posts relating to Apple Corp allowed on the main forum of Btf. Don't they belong in the alt forum? Many of DD (troll) posts relating to companies competing with Apple are intended to bait others. This is a sex forum and the cheer leading for the Apple Cult should be left to the religious cult or business forums.

BK - it's your forum, so you can guide it in any direction you choose. I'm sure you are interested in the quality of this forum as much as anyone.
I do have a suggestion, but before that I want to say that I'm not taking sides against anyone on this board, and IMHO this board could do with a little less animosity.
On to my suggestion: I can't speak for other BM's, but I primarily access via the "Last 25" link, and was getting discouraged by seeing all the "glorify Apple, ridicule the competition" threads there. I'm an Apple fan, but that's not why I read BTF. I also see a "Last 25 ALT" link, which leads only to the iPhone Thread.
Suggestion: can the Apple threads be moved to a separate ALT section? They certainly have their followers, similar to Aussie football threads. However, I feel they shift the focus away from the primary BTF topics.
To clarify, the Tech section is a useful part of BTF, but would be improved if it only pertains to Thai tech issues. Some (Thai) Apple threads would remain completely appropriate, for example "Where can I get an iPhone 4S in Thailand?"
Non-Thai threads such as "Samsung copies Apple without permission" or "Apple copied Xerox with permission" are fine, but would be better in an ALT section.
I apologize in advance if these are presumptuous suggestions from an outed lurker!
