TGF in Hawaii for 2 weeks, definitely not cost efficient.
1360 airfare, 500 spending money (worked out to be over 1000 for the shopping I paid for), another 400 in eating out (Thail Rest. in Waikiki and Ala Moana area).
Money better spend for my travel to Thailand, but she did like Diner's Drive-In Mixed Plate (only cheap meal while out on the town).
Definitely not to be repeated!!!!

Mosquito2002, I spent more on the two week visit of the now wife to Oz than I think I have in the two plus years she has been here since...
....great memories though....same as you, definitely not cost efficient but no regrets...Enjoy.

As to accents....early in the relationship and on a slightly off day the now wife looks across the table in a small Pattaya restaurant and says "You want new girl."..as I look at her with my best stunned stupid look..louder she says "YOU WANT NEW GIRL.!"...you can write the script from here yourself once I tell you that this ended minutes later when I realised I had misunderstood her accent and all she had said was " (Do) you want nu-gells (noodles) ?"... Enjoy

mrs atl says to me this morning "tilac, why does everyone say happy holidays on tv and radio (she streams radio on computer) and not melly clistmas?"
I say "well its so they do not offend people that are not christian."
mrs atl "but they come to your country where you have clismas they know that when they come here."
I am not making this up...I love how she see's things...

She eats some spicy curry, rice, egg and fish sauce concoction before she goes to bed, her breath stinks up the room it makes my eyes water the oder ferments in her stomach for days.
She put metal in the microwave and destroyed it.
she cooks the most foul smelling dishes that you can ever imagine, yet she still will rarely kiss me on the lips.
She eats rotten meat and fish, laughs off my warnings and gets sick.
She drove my car through the bay door at Jiffy Lube.
She wont get a $20.00 /month cell phone because there "too expensive"
Thinks that any girl wearing a bikini or revealing clothing is a "Gareee" and says how much she hates them??
is totally obsesesd with that Thai pop star "Big" that was in a coma and died of a brain fungus ( Thank god he's dead) she just goes on and on about him.
Asks me personal or highly detail oriented questions about people or things I dont know, have never met, Or in any ones wildest fantasy I would know anything about. If I give her a speculative answer it automatically makes me an expert and she will immediately ask me about 10 million more questions in a row and very quickly.
Im 5'9" 150 lbs have a flat stomach I go to the gym regularly, she thinks Im fat, protests when I eat.
Showered with the curtain out the outside of the tub assuming there was a drain in the floor.
Always seems to find the most horrible computer viruses
when she farts its the funniest thing ever, when I do its like I murdered her family.
learned english swear words very quickly and uses them very colorfully.
Prays to Buddah before she scratches a scratch ticket.
despite my clear instructions with pictures and warnings..Broke the clothes washer twice by stuffing it to overflowing.
