Went to Sahaphat Ratchada Clinic about a week ago to get a prescription for Levitra because I'd read on this site that the would write them. Instead, the doctor just asked me how much I wanted and told me I didn't need a prescription. They sell Levitra, Viagra, and Cialis for 1,800 a box and even have a few empty boxes on the counter on display.

... no different than the Thai pharmacy's that dipense knockoff prescription drugs without a pharmacist... I am not sure I would be comforted by what you just went through, or satisfied that you bought the authentic stuff, if that was you intent.
... maybe someone can comment on the THB 1,800 price... sounds like knockoff pricing... I recall Boots has them at about THB 2,200 per box.
... so, you take your chances everytime you step out your door here in Thailand, eh?

I actually went to get a prescription and asked for an examination. After taking my blood pressure, listening to my heart, and asking a few questions, the doctor asked "How many pills do you want" Initially, I thought he was talking about writing a prescription and then he told me I could just buy it. I got one box of Levitra because I wanted something immediately and it was available, but I knew I was taking a chance. I struck out at KS and the small drugstore between Nana and soi 0 on Suk. The pills I got worked well (too well, in fact, I am now only using quarter pill doses) but I can't vouch for the place. I am just providing information for my fellow mongers.

... (which is why it all sounds waaay too suspicious to me... this IS Thailand).

All very interesting im sure. Have always purchased
Kamagra from KS and the like never a problem. I dont even like viagra much prefer the indian
equivelant which is not even legal in the west cause its too cheap.
So I will just order it before the trip or directly from india seems the best bet.

I also have good experience with Cialis. Never tried Viagra and do not like Levitra. Normally I just take half and it works fine. If take the whole pill it will last the whole weekend (hence the weekend pill). No side effects from Cialis and I did not experience the same effect (long lasting) with Levitra. Viagra scares me after having read what the side effects could be. I purchased one box Cialis from one pharmacy on Rama IV Road, price THB 2,100.- and it was the real stuff. Same as prescribed from Bumrungrad, where the price is higher. I had a good 3 hour session with 2 ladies the other afternoon, so Cialis is highly recommended.
