AAPL Closes Above MSFT
Apple finished the trading day today more valuable than Microsoft, second only to Exxon Mobil among U.S. companies. As Dylan Tweney notes, the truly staggering figure is the comparative growth. If you invested $1000 in AAPL ten years ago, you have more than $10,000 today. If you invested $1000 in MSFT, you have about $800 today. There are no zeroes missing: Microsoft’s market capitalization has declined nearly 20% over the last decade.
It could all change tomorrow, but it’s a remarkable milestone for anyone who remembers the nineties. Maybe that buyout isn’t too far off after all.

Been busy -- and yes, I was COMPLETELY WRONG about my hope/prediction that iPhone4 was going to look different than the leaked model.
Damn, once in a while I end up being horribly, horribly wrong - and this was one of those moments. I really don't like the new design.
My iPhone's on pre-order, of course.

TRUE offers prepaid data service on a monthly plan. It's a revolving plan, so you need to manually discontinue and disable the service when you leave again.
