iPad Spirit jailbreak + Camera Connection Kit = external HDD support

Apple should have included support for USB drives with the iPad, but this guy has shown it can still be done.
He used a terminal session initiated from a Mac in order to mount the drive. But once a terminal app is available that works on the iPad that won't be required. It should be possible for an app to do the same.
He also notes that the same procedure should work with the SD card reader.

The Thai people are a little more down to earth than those is the West. They worry more about more pressing problems, like how to survive, rather than being the first on their block to own an iPod without even knowing what they will use it for.
Besides, if you bring a brand new unopened (in the box) iPod into Thailand, it is subject to import duties. If you try and sell one that is not in the box, then it is a used iPod and will not fetch what you paid for it (see paragraph one above).

When I was living in the states I lived on mac's, all was well until I moved to Thailand, I lost 3 power books in the space of as many months and I do not mean left them on the sky train, I mean they just went tits up stop working for no reason. This was even the answer from the powers at be, "no reason sir, we will just have to fix it"
It felt like I was smashing my head against a brick wall.
Ever since then I just give up an apple stuff, it just looks nice but hey, so does my wife's tits.
I would rather take my chances with a 10000 baht piece of crap that will last 1 year but I can get it repaired or/and buy another for 5000baht a year later than a 60000baht over priced brick that keeps on breaking, and getting it repaired is like trying to find the lost tribe in the Incas.
This is just my opinion and YMMV I have tones of mates that live for there single wavering iphone4
