As for the original post, so what if a village makes a 'cottage industry' out of sponsorship. I am sure that it is not the first. It is no different than the scam pulled on some of the NGOs in S America and Africa. Heck, in the USA whole housing complexes work toegether to 'pull the wool over the eyes' of Government Welfare Inspectors.
Is this really news... Naw.

At one time I remember the flames were the 95% of the ' unique observations or comments' as you put it Arramsey, and 5% was the normal stuff. Now as you say 95% is repetitive and only 5% is perhaps challenging.
Hell I even got chastized for being 'robust' over on the Z.
The trend seems that you have to post things that people can agree with - an anathema to alternatve posters like FM.
Frankly I find posts like ' Arramsey is right we should discuss topic in this forum' rather frightening.

Mr Duck, I think you are being mischevious. You and I know that such amateur amputations usually take place not because of where else he has put it or even how often but because No.1 wife's position is somehow under threat.
Of course whilst I believe this to be true I'll admit it is not something I am prepared to test with the life of my best and dearest friend. Enjoy.
