You skipped the final line of my post.
Let’s look at this relationship thing, they class as the following:
You intend buy her exclusive company for a few hours (S/T) ;
You intend buy her exclusive company for a night (L/T) ;
You intend buy her exclusive company for a specified period (Extended L/T) ;
You intend buy her exclusive company for until both parties agree to split (G/F) ;
You intend buy her exclusive company for until marriage (Fiance) ;
You intend buy her exclusive company for Life (Marriage).
Now sponsorship is a class completely different from the above. In that case you intend to buy her exclusive company until such time as you either find a younger and prettier girl, you decide to spend the money elsewhere, or you tire of the whole game and return to/establish a permanent relationship with another woman.
IMHO there are one or more fools in the sponsorship relationship, that of the sponsor who expects exclusive company or the girl who gives it. Any woman who would accept sponsorship money and give herself exclusively to the sponsor indefinitely without the reasonable expectation of marriage is being foolish because she will never achieve the legitimacy in the community and personal security that marriage brings. On the other hand, the sponsor is a fool if he expects the woman to give him exclusivity without a reasonable expectation that he will some day make the relationship permanent.
Now for those sponsors that state that they are being altruistic and that the charity they provide from the sponsorship is from they kindness of their hearts, why in the hell are you sleeping with them (or in that case demanding exclusivity) ? Charity and altruism is by definition to give without the expectation of anything in return.
So why don’t y’all get off your high horses and admit to the fact that ‘sponsorship’ as offered by many members of this forum is just a form of rationalization used to salve the guilty conscience of a Punter…
BTW: I have donned my flame proof underwear so go ahead and flame away cuz I really do not give a shit…

No, it's not - it also often fans the gullible nature of the punter, who actually believes that he's got an exclusive.
The way I see it - sponsorship can be a precursor to taking a relationship into more serious waters, but by itself, is essentially a fool's errand.

My regular BG of a few years ago wanted me to sponsor her.
Her younger sister was working at the same bar in Soi Cowboy, was one of the show girls and, according to my BG, had three guys sending money to her each month. My BG also detailed their names, where they were from and the respective amounts they were paying.
My BG pointed out that she only had 1 guy sponsoring her and making monthly payments and wanted me to sponsor her also so that she could catch up with the younger sister. It was all about "face".
The more guys she could get to sponsor her - the better she was seen to be at her "job" of being a bargirl and the more "face" that she gained and the happier that she was.
So in BG logic if you "loved" her and wanted her to be happy you would sponsor her and show that love and make her happy.
Guess I just didn't "love" her enough after all. Enjoy.

Apropos your latest post above, I think Thaidup has answered briefly and to the point.
If those are the only options you see in any Sponsorship then, as I have done 3 or 4 years ago, I invite you to contact or visit any ( or all ) of the 3 girls that I sponsor and find out in your own way :
(1) If I lavish them with money or not.
(2) If I am not lavishing them with money then why are they still with me ( one for nearly 10 years ; one for nearly 8 years & one for nearly 6 years ).
(3) If I have demanded exclusivity from them or if I have encouraged them to look for a good husband with the assurance that I will support them until they are settled.
(4) If they have been with any other man in all those years mentioned above.
(5) If they would like the chance to drop me and go with another man who may be much younger, much more handsome, much richer & much more generous than me.
(6) If I have ever promised any of them marriage or rather if I have made it very clear that I cannot marry them ( although I must admit that all 3 of them refer to me as their "husband" ).
NOTE :- (a) Maybe you could use the services of TPE II.
(b) If you want to check out the above then PM
me and I will supply you with all their names,
addresses and telephone numbers. (AS
LONG AS THIS INFORMATION IS NOT MIS-
USED ).
The reason I do this ?? Because as Thaidup says, I am fed up with the jaded types who think that the only reasons for Sponsorship are the ones mentioned in your post above.
