Hi
looking for a service apartment near suk or close to a bts for 6 months starting around May
Budget is around 15k month, dont have to be fancy, but need fast internet.
There are so many when you look on the web, and I have found a few that I will have a closer look at, but maybe some of you guys have some inside info I can use
looking forward to hear from you

look at the Victory Monument area..... I guess the best places for the price are at the extreme ends of the BTS lines......

... try KV Mansion on Soi 81... about 250-300m (5 minutes walk) from On Nut BTS station... http://www.kvmansion.com.... a 60m2 1-BR w/living room is within your budget... 30m2 studio well within your budget.
... my daughter's showroom is in the area, and she sees Soi 81 as a newly emerging 'neighborhood'... a number of farang live there already... street is trashed right now, but new paving should be finished in the next month, or so.
... reasonably good neighborhood amenities in the immediate area... Tesco-Lotus at the BTS station... local neighborhood restaurants, food market, laundry.
... also... in any of these places that serve breakfast, you should negotiate ABF as a freebee... do not allow them to use ABF as an add-on.
... you can get a good look at it using Google Earth's Street View feature, which is now available for BKK... 13deg 42' 20.48" N and 100deg 36' 14.76" E

... but, I am suggesting that he use the Google EARTH map... the special Street View feature is now provided for BKK... gets him a look right into the front door of the place and the street scene up and down the soi.
... give it a try... pretty cool app.
... if you not used it before, the Street View feature is the little yellow icon of a man standing on a green disk, located in the upper right hand corner of the map near the navigation tools.

I get the Street View from Google Maps too. Just drag the man icon on the left to the street and you get to see the street. Strangely, it works on soi 81 but not on soi 11. Those lazy motherf***ers!

this kv mansion looks like a winner...............8000 for a 6 month lease. and only 1 month security deposit. WOW!
though sutti mansion 2 is hard to beat seconds from thong lo bts!
