Yes, I am a one time stayer at Oxford, old dirty rooms, inedible Breakfast & bad service. City Garden so much better with the exception of the wait at the lifts!

only one elavator was working, the rooms had cigg.. burns on the rugs, and our air broke down 2 times... city garden hotel the best.. try to get one of the high floor corner units, great views!

Amazing what good advice can be gleemed from this site.
I haven't been to Phils in over 12 YEARS!!! had bad experiences last time,,, big pussies.,, but figure it's worth another try.
I have first 3 nights booked and paid,,, AHHH Sofitel Manila bay,,, VIP room 84 sq metres, Jacuzzi and hug balconey overlooking the water I would never pay that type of money but got a GREAT deal.
Meeting a bird there I met through a dating site,, so planning my EXIT in case it's no good.
City garden you guys say,, ok, willl keep that in mind.
How about cebu,,, from what I've seen that place has a very large amount of nicwe gals,, but hard to find a decent hotel at a decent price,,, any recommendations??? around 2-3,000 peso?

Mel, have you considered Subic, (close to A.C.)
Or Puerto Galera, probably best to BYO girl there
I don't think either will match the beaches around Cebu, but Subic a good value
Maybe google has more on Bahia Resort Hotel & Tambuli Beach Club in Cebu

Freddies or Eddies hotel. "Mango ave." Plenty of hostess bars with very hot chicks!!!. I think I was paying 1600 peso a night, walk out of your hotel and your right where the action is.. Do a google search on "mango ave girly bars cebu" you will find plenty of info on the action etc.. hope this is helpful..

don5252 Funny you should mention Puerto Galera,, I went there 12 years ago,,,LOL. Back then a nice hut type house bedroom kitchen lounge room etc was 1200 Peso,, and not a single building there over 2 stories,,, I believe it has changed SUBstantially.
For beaches I'm looking at Borocay or Palawan.
Just that i've met so many lovely's from cebu,,, on that dating site,,, it looks VERY tempting.
