UKPunter, thanks for the advice on the bus, not a bad idea!
I purposely did NOT take Dew anywhere near Wanchai. If she stepped foot into Fenwicks and saw how much those girls get paid for such little work, she might not have ever left.  But then again, the p4p Thai chicks in Hong Kong are a very different breed than those in Thailand, pretty sure Dew would not fit in, but ya' never know...
From this trip, she had no idea that a p4p scene even exists in Hong Kong. She can figure that out for herself someday, if she likes.

OK, OK, here is the ending. Not really as melodramatic as I made it out to be, I think too much. 
DAY 4 - Goodbye, take care of yourself

I gather my things together in the hotel room and get ready to get going. I am going to meet a few guys for lunch at the Landmark, and I do not want to be late because I want to squeeze in a soapy this afternoon too! And I know traffic will be shit to Sukhumvit. I slip a little cash in Dew's bag like I always do.
Typically in the past, our goodbyes are somewhat Thai-like, as I am coming back within 4-6 weeks. This time, I am coming back 5 weeks later (same same), Dew knows that. She comes up to me, gives me a big hug and puts her head on my shoulder and says quietly in my ear, in Thai: Dew: "Thank you so much for take me see Hong Kong, I never forget Hong Kong, I never forget you, take care yourself and take care your younger sister and take care your dog, understand?"
I look at her and she thinks I do not understand, so she says her 'goodbye' again, but this time in English. Dew has no tears (I've never seen her ever even close to crying), but a very serious look on her face. Me thinks this is more like a 'goodbye' than a 'see you later'. And I think this is for my benefit.
I say "you OK?" Dew says "Yes, OK." I'm a little confused, but I don't confront her to talk more, I know her very well (as much as I can know a Thai, which means I know her a little bit) and I know Dew has said everything she wants to say to me. It would be stupid of me to ask her any questions now.
I say "see you next month, we will go to the beach, or we will go to the mountain or we will do whatever you want to do, OK?" Dew nods in agreement; she grabs one of my two bags and puts her hand out for a 10-baht tip for her to carry it to the lobby for me. Cute. I pay.
Waves to each other in the lobby, I go one way, Dew goes the other. I really hope I see her again, but a part of me thinks her 'goodbye' was not a 'see you later'. We'll find out soon.

Now before anyone gets on my case about leaving you hanging. Dew did not call me to say goodbye before I left Thailand (she always does). I sent SMS to her, it didn't go through. I tried to call her, her phone off. I tried to call her a few times from Amereka, phone always off. I didn't think too much about it because her phone stopped working when we got back from Hong Kong, for some reason. Wouldn't even power up.
10 days after I saw her, I got SMS (5:00am Thailand time) on my Thai phone from a strange number: "CG, can you call me now?" I knew it was Dew because that is the exact words she has used in SMS in the past. I could not call her right away, but I called her a few hours later. Someone else answered and handed the phone to Dew. She was not drunk and sounded like she was in a busy place. I asked her what she was doing up so early, she said "Now I work restaurant in (town in Thailand), good for me I hope." We talked vaguely about next month and when I come, I told her if she has time, I can see her. Dew says: "CG you can see me everytime!"
So I guess same same. We'll see.
One thing this shows me is that our relationship is on HER terms, not mine. The fact that this makes me HAPPY shows what a different person I have become after 3 years of coming to Thailand!
Part of me wants to know what her story REALLY is, her life when I am not with her really is a mystery to me. Thai husband, Thai boyfriend, farang boyfriend, sponsor, who knows?!? I cannot ask her, as I have no right to demand accountability from her. It's probably for the best that I not know the truth anyway.
I have so much fun with this girl that, as long as she wants to see me, I will continue to see her until it isn't fun anymore.

Exactly. Sometimes when I telephone from outside LOS and tell TG that I am sleeping with my great big dog, I get quite a laugh....especially when I tell her that Oldtimer has never been in love with a boy before.
That is, of course, a boy dog.

CG, I said on day 1 what a marvellous adventure you have given Dew..and yourself of course. 'Just having fun', Dew will always remember that fun and no doubt many years from now, she will recall this trip and probably have a giggle to herself.

That's true. Actually it happens quite often, maybe 1/3 of the time. But I never heared they did reject if there wasn't a problem before (overstay, visa runs to China, etc). Also between the long stays she always should go back Thailand for at least 31 days.
It's also better for the immigration card if she writes a hotel address instead of an apartment, private address or even let it empty.
But in general, the Hongkong immigration is more relaxed than the Macau people.

Having a "girlfriend" like her is really fun and it is a treat to be with her for a for a few days. Her view of new things is really enjoyable to witness. Her expectations are low and she is "naive" enough about the world to not "think so much" and enjoy a trip like this.
And she is very low maintenance. A western girl might have looked at the room we were staying in and demanded to change. Dew walks in and looks around, I "koor toad hong mai dee" and Dew says "never mind, we only stay here two days not two years!".
Yes, I know she is not a "real girlfriend" but this is a very good thing.

CG is always a good read. I would love to find someone who loves new things as much as Dew. Actually, given my dating patterns I probably will.
Anyway, CrazyDanceGirl from Phuket and I have a weird relationship too. She's actually pretty honest with me, though I always wonder how much of the story I get. She told me she spent 3 months with a boyfriend in Chalong, then spent 3 months at home. She's honest about going with other guys (she doesn't say much, and I don't ask, but it's not secret) and she has no problem that I've taken 4 or 5 different girls from the bar: "Cannot be jealous, you are not husband or boyfriend, it is your holiday I know men like to take different lady"
I've invited CDG to dinner and had her eat nothing. She just seems so real despite her very unreal job. As she says "You are special friend."
