Ok...here are my two cents concerning Sirtitus' FR.
I spent very little time in Shanghais but it felt to me like it would be more like a hostess/beerbar...I guess I simply assumed that there would be BFs etc.
About the big guy at Sharkys....geez....I was preoccupied with ditching a bothersome bitch who was insistant on massaging me even though I was interested in another lady who I had bought some drinks for etc.
There were 3 big guys at the bar getting drunk and noisy. Some of them kept stepping outside to smoke some joints and such. One of them was getting really loud and yelling at his friends. I think he was Aussie or Brit but whatever since his accent I couldnt understand what he was yelling about...they all laughed after wards and no one seemed unnerverved by his behavior but me so I guess he was just as Isee described a "soccer hooligan type".
The other two guys were a big thick black guy with long dreads and the guy we now affectionately refer to as "Fat Bastard" Yes this guy is about 6 feet and 5 inches tall and well over 300 pounds.
So here is how it went down...
The first notice I took of Fat bastard was when Sirtitus is pointing and yelling "look at that!" He is laughing cuz Fat Bastards ass crack was hanging out big time. It was funny but I guess after that 3rd mortar round hit his head he didnt feel any need to be quiet about it...I shushed Sirtitus and that seeemed to be the end of that...I thought FB maybe had not noticed.
A while later FB comes staggering to a spot near our table and he is looking at STs lady. Like I said I was somewhat distracted by two ladies but his appraoch caught my eye. I am not sure what was said but I heard that he grabbed the girl and she pulled away...
We soon left a bit later. As we were walking out the door and down the steps FB walks down menacingly to Sirtitus. To his credit he stood and faced him down..Smoky and I were looking about for what the other guys were doing as we watched this drama closely. Words were exchanged and FBs buddies staggered out without him. FB was drunk as shit but simply walked past and out of there.
Sirtitus stands there after the fact steaming with alcohol fueled protective testosterone flowing freely. Drunk as he was he did the right thing without escalating unnecessarily...I was proud of his drunk ass.

I was so drunk that I didn't realize that Dreadlocks and the Soccer Hooligan were with Fat Bastard. Might not have been so brave if I knew....
But I did have Cyborg, Isee, and Smoky backing me up. We could have taken 'em. Would have been quite the brawl too... 7 big guys - combined weight around 2000 pounds!!!
Cooler heads prevailed in the end though and the epic brawl never occured (probably better that it didn't).
Be careful in Cambodia, guys. Between the Fat Bastards out there and the killer dump trucks, Cambo's not the safest place in the world....

You were lucky I think. Cambodia is not a place to start fights in you never know what will happen there.
Good thing Cooler heads prevailed or your trip could have been a real downer to say the least.
Cambodia is fairly safe but still best to be carefull
Maybe next time avoid those mortar rounds, better for your health that way.

Funnily enough I must have been in Cambodia at the same time......
Nice to hear you had a good time.
My 10 Riels worth;
I went for a massage in one of the 'normal' places in Siem Reap and had several offers for both on and off the premises.
The other thing not mentioned so far was the surprising number of 'Happy Pizza' restaurants.
For those of you who don't know, Happy Pizzas are sprinkled with Canabis herb, or should I say loaded.
