Instead of starting another thread for this mini-FR, I think it might be best to just add it to Sirtitus's excellent FR. We stayed at the same hotel and went to some of the same places, so this is probably the best place for this FR:

CG GET'S STARFISHED IN PHNOM PENH - twice!

I was recently in PP for about 24 hours, so I will add my notes here:
At 4:30am, I leave a sleeping Dew in my Soi15LoveShack and head to BKK airport. She looks peaceful sleeping, so I don't even bother her to say goodbye.  We had a nice goodbye last night.  Dew knows to leave by about Noon (and likely take off to see whoever her current Thai boyfriend is!) I could care less because I am on the morning flight to Phnom Penh. I';ve read enough field reports about Cambodia on this forum, it's time to check it out. One night should do it, then off to Amereka.
Land at PP airport, wow, this place looks nice. Beautiful, new, modern airport, if this is what the rest of Cambodia is like, I'll be impressed.  $20 cash handed over for my visa (granted on arrival). They'll take 1000 baht too. I didn't forget a photograph either; the girl ahead of me didn't have a photo with her so they were just ignoring her, wonder if she got in. Out to the curb and the driver from the Flamingos Hotel - http://www.flamingos.com.kh/ - is there to meet me. $7 or $8 charge (forgot which) for airport pickup, not a bad deal not to hassle getting a ride.
On the way to the Flamingo, I see that the Phnom Penh Airport is likely the nicest building in Cambodia. The sights from the airport to the center of Phnom Penh are stark in how basic they are. Everything appears to be falling apart.  Toto, you're not in Kansas anymore!
As Sirtitus said, Flamingo is a good spot to stay, very clean rooms, $25 for what they call the Deluxe, they call you when the girl leaves, good breakfast and friendly staff. Plus, it is very close to Shanghai Bar and Heart of Darkness. More about that later.
Check in, room OK, they are still serving breakfast for another hour but I head out and walk the surrounding area. Wow, this place is really a mess! No organization to any of the shops, vendors, people, there is a "rawness" about it. Anyone who has been in Phnom Penh knows what I mean by this, I can't really explain it better.
Head back to the hotel, get a coffee, then head out to an Internet place - they are everywhere, all for less than 50 cents per hour. Everyone takes US dollars but change is sometimes given in riels. Good to have some riels too, as many things cost less than $1 (like a moto ride).
Work finished, time to get laid. I walk into the "ChayHour Hotel & Massage" which is near the hotel, go upstairs and find the MP girls to choose from old or ugly - everyone of them. Plus, the place smelled. :pikey: Out of their and down the street a few doors to the Walkabout Hotel and Bar. Ordered a beer ($1.50) and the only girl working there comes up and starts rubbing my dick through my pants. She has a very cute face and what look like huge tits. I check for tattoos, none. I check the stomach for stretch marks, none. I ask her age, she says 19 (she looks maybe few years older). I ask her what she is doing this afternoon and she says "I want to boom-boom you now"). OK, this sounds like a good idea. Someone told me $10 is the proper short time price so I say to her, very clearly "Short-time OK? $10 right?" She says "Yes, $10, good for me. Let's go". I down my beer and we had the one block to the Flamingo.
The Flamingo staff sees me go in with her but does not ask my room number, up in the room, she turns on the TV.  So TVGirl is watching some stupid show and I take a shower, come out, I motion for her to go take a shower, she says no, she just took one 30 minutes ago before she came to work. OK, TVGirl is still watching the TV, this is a bad sign, and I can tell this in not going to be a real GFE experience. TVGirl takes her clothes off, and she does have huge tits, but they are hanging down almost to her waste. Huge nipples too. She looks at me and says "OK, ready?" What I should have done is told her "never mind", and given her the $10. But instead, I tell her to come onto the bed. She lies on her back, props her head up on a pillow and spread her legs and says "boom boom now." Again, should have cut her loose, but screw her. After a minute, I don't want to look at the saggy tits so I turn her over for doggie. TVGirl complains because she cannot see the TV. Too bad. I screw her for a good while this way (she has a great ass and legs, and is tight). TVGirl is the definition of a starfish.
After I cum, I jump in for a quick shower because I think my dick smells a little. I come out and TVGirl doesn't even get off the bed, she has now crawled under the covers and is watching the TV. She even tells me to move away and turn it up! I tell her the TV-watching party is over, but she's not moving. She says "I stay here look TV today!" I tell her I am going out to meet a friend and she has to get dressed and leave. She says "How much you give me?" I say "$10 like you said in the bar". TVGirl says "No $10 too little". I ask her why she said $10 and she said "me not speak English good, me not understand". I tell her she must get dressed NOW.  She does so reluctantly - no shower. I give her the $10, plus $2 more as 'insurance' and she says "I need more". I tell her "no, I cannot and she swears at me in Khmer". I walk with her out of the room, down the stairs and stand by the stairs as TVGirl leaves. The Flamingo staff stops her and she gestures back to me, I tell them it is OK for her to leave and TVGirl is gone. Not a great start to the trip, someone once told me "a load is a terrible thing to waste". Never mind, shit happens.
I take a moto down to the river and have some lunch and a beer. Would be nice and peaceful, except for the hundred people that come up and try to sell something to me or beg for money. Mental note to sit inside next time. On the way back to the hotel, I take a side trip to the Tong Soel (sp?) torture museum. Interesting and sobering (no further comment, as this is not a subject for this FR). Back to the hotel, nap for a few hours.
I go out about 8:00pm - first I go to the roof of the hotel, as Sirtitus said there was a bar and pool table up there. The bar appears to be closed (maybe open only part of the year). I walk across the street to Shanghai Bar. A couple of cute girls in here, reminds me a little of a Soi 33 bar, but not near as nice. Beers only $1. I get the eye of a very cute girl but she is with a customer and doesn't budge. Beer done, I take a moto to Sharkey's about 9:00pm. I go upstairs; the place is pretty empty, just a few customers, a few FLers and some staff. I flirt a bit with a bartender (probably not good to go, but who knows) and fend off a couple of ugly, old girls that have come up to me. I get the eye of a very lovely girl in a nice blouse and a skirt and she eventually comes over to me. Her name is "Mum", so I guess I will call her Mum. Mum's is OK enough for us to converse in basics - perfect. In looking at Mum, I notice that her body is good and her face is very 'soft looking' and nice. I ask her if she wants a drink and she says "no". She stays with me and talks to me and I eventually check-bin ($3 for 2 beers). She asks where I am going and I tell her I want to eat, she says I can eat here but I want to get outside. I tell Mum that she can come with me to eat if she wants, she ways "where?" and I tell her "up to you". We get outside and she again asks where I want to eat. I say "up to you, I can eat anything".
We get on a moto and go about 10 minutes to a noodle place on the road. Mum orders a bowl of noodles for each of us and some tea (I think) to drink. Delicious! I ask for the bill and give them 5000 riels, and I get 4000 riels back. This meal just cost me about 20 cents for two! Where to go? I again tell Mum "up to you" and we head on a moto to Martini. We go into the disco and order two drinks ($3.50 total). Man, you cannot beat the prices here in PP! Anyway, we sit here for awhile until Mum spots two friends. They come over and I offer them drinks (they decline!) These three girls are quite fun, and Mum's two friends are obviously here looking for guys. The three girls go off dancing so I check out the place. Some good-looking girls are starting to come in, not everyone is cute but there is enough quality here to come back on future visits. Over 10-15 minutes, Mum comes back to me and cuddles close - maybe to make it clear to others that I am "taken". I have not discussed anything about sex with Mum; we'll just see how it goes. I get a 2nd beer and Mum and her friends also decline drinks.
Just before midnight, Mum says she wants to go somewhere else. I ask her if she wants me to go with or she wants to go with her friends, she says we should all go together. OK, off on two motos so Heart of Darkness (perfect, right near the Flamingo Hotel). Their moto gets there first and before I can even offer to pay the $1 for their moto, they have paid and are inside. Mum and I undergo a full body pat-down to enter Heart of Darkness. I offer drinks to Mum's friends, they each take water. We are grooving to the music and enjoying the scene. Lots of pictures taken. I'm really starting to like Mum; she's good looking, sexy, a tiny bit reserved. Just perfect.
About 1:00pm, I decide it’s time to screw Mum, so tell her I'd like to go to the hotel, does she want to come with? Yes, of course she does. Up to the room, lots of kissing, showers for both then.... I am starfished from Mum. Well, not starfished exactly, but she really isn't into it. This is a surprise to me, as we've been having a great night. Maybe sex just isn't her thing, who knows. Clean up and Mum goes to get dressed. This surprises me a little too, but we had not discussed anything about LT, ST, etc. I have to get out of here in the morning anyway, so this is not really too disappointing. I think I gave her about $25, she gave me a fun night.
The night could have ended with better sex and a LT, but all in all, Mum was a great companion for the evening. She took me to all kinds of places, didn't gouge me for money or drinks and was fun. Next morning, back to the beautiful Phnom Penh airport and goodbye Cambodia. I think I'll be back, Cambo girls are as cute as TGs and seem a little less "on the game". There is a lot of potential here.

Glad to hear that PP kinda agreed with you. I totally understand what you mean by a "rawness" to the city. Personally, I didn't find it endearing.
I'd say that Martini's is the best bet to find someone for the night. The one night I was there, it was packed with women looking for a man. Some of them quite nice (and one woman in black who was a perfect 10... remember her, Cyborg?).
I agree that there's potential in Cambodia. But I doubt I'll go back. It's too "raw" for me.
Guess you didn't meet up with Nina, huh? A shame.

Agree with you both about the raw character of PP. There's a certain freedom in that... maybe too much...
Also agree w/SirTitus that Martini's is the best bet, especially for lithe exquisite young Viet girls at a decent price; girls with those looks would demand a pretty penny in BKK.
However I would say that I found in Cambodia the chances of starfish are a little higher than in LOS, with fewer GFE's. The best was a Khmer girl on Koh Kong, I generously paid her 400baht a pop, who spoke some Thai (even though whenever I leave Thailand I'm really not in the mood to hear Thai--I have to use it at work and I'm on holiday) Got with some of most beautifully looking females on the planet (imo), they all provided bbj, reaming, sex all positions... but about 50% were a bit mechanical, distant. But, you know, that could be because as of yet I speak about only 10 words in Khmer or Vietnamese. The guys who live there probably have more GFE's. I always believe language is one thing that warms things up. I am sure that if I lived there and picked up the lingo, the good times would roll better, oh they'd roll alright.
Don't know when I'll be back though, sadly, too busy. It's been 2 yrs. But thanks for your FR, CG.

Good FR CG, yes it does a have " Raw " feel to it for a first time visitor, still it grows on you.
I noticed in all my visits, several now, that a lot of the girls dont drink and wont hastle you for Lady drink which I find refreshing after Bangkok.
In regards to Starfishes, well its luck of the draw as it is in Bangkok / Los.
Me I stay with the same two girls on my visits, I know what I`m getting 
Good to see you scouted around mate, to bad you didnt stay longer than an over night trip, you need several days to really get the feel for the place.
Martinies, you need to get there around 10.00 pm thats when the girls start arriving, Sharkies Ive found its rather a hit and miss, Walkabout well I use it as my last stop with the girls, they like to play some pool before heading back to the hotel also not a bad place for a feed before you hit the Sack.

Ok since this seems to be the prevailing Cambo thread I'll ask my question here. Are there any ATMs in Cambo yet? If so is it still the best policy to bring your own US cash? I don't want to find out that the one ATM in PP is broken when I get there, or it frequently runs out of cash. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes there are ATM`S in Phnom Penh, the ANZ bank has them. Best time to use them is in Daylight hours, security reasons, dont with draw from them at night.
Me I take enough USD for my time there, so I dont bother with the ATM`s

Thanks S05. Always a wealth of Cambo info. I don't want to bring a ziploc with $800 worth of singles and fivers like I did last time.
I'll be travelling through the States and nowadays customs would probably have lots of questions about the money. Saying it's for Cambodia......well you can imagine.
I think I'll bring 100s in my wallet and have them changed down at the hotel or a bank when I get there.

I concure US$20 's are the go,, everything you want seems to be US$20,,, as in good hotel = 20,, nice gal for l/t = 20 etc etc.
There are also many "booths" that do cash advance on credit/debit cards,, so take a card along for access to extra cash if needed.
