Dawin going 2nd day without internet services. Patrons pretty pissed.

I just booked 22 to 25 july to check it out, I stayed
at the Grande in soi 6 when it opened the wireless internet never worked when I was there,so if the same people are set it up why does this not suprise me.
They will have to fix it im paying 300 baht a day more for a pool and internet so if one falls out why stay there.
Also the inn is 50 metres from nana Plaza while the Dawin 288 metres.

At 288m from Nana, That would put it near the Worbury which I stayed at on a previous visit. It's a bit of a hike if your pissed. Wifi would be great but I have a local net sim card so no loss if it's not working.The Tv is wall mounted and I will need to get to the AV in ports,can anyone tell me if they are the accesseble from the front?

but the Dawin is a much nicer place to stay, especially if you get one of those old crappy rooms in the front building of the DI.

Not sure what you mean here, the DG does not charge extra for internet or pool but maybe I misunderstood your post. On the DG website however it states : "Internet Corner
You can access Wi-Fi Internet from room if you already have your own laptop "....
This is a complete lie. They have the old cable internet in the rooms NOT wireless and it's sluggish. I complained to the manager....and I got ' thank you for informing us"..... total BS really

I mean the diff is XXX baht for what basicaly is internet and a pool with the chance of a better room thrown in.
Im staying at the inn because friends are.
The Inn has other bigger corner rooms you can ask if you dont want one at the front.
Actually the crappy rooms at the front picked up free wifi last time I was there + the view of the girls on the other sde of the street. 
DG advetise WIFI but last time I was there it did not work, I do have a labtop with wifi. Your confirming its still not working right ? then I would not pay the extra baht to stay there. As always in Thailand its up to you.
I will give the Dawin a go because the kids like to swim
and its new. All three have an in room safe which I like.
I will add something after I stay there.

Confirming the Dynasty Grande has working internet..but not wireless in the ROOMS as they advertise. Wireless in the lobby and cable in the rooms. Both work, the service is much faster in the lobby than in the rooms. Was just there two days ago.
Dawin Hotel internet now working well after several patrons including myself started bitching and asking for 300 baht off the room rate for each down day....after receiving a blank stare from the reception girl a techinician was called to fix

I'm arriving Sunday. Had thought about staying at the Woraburi. Only reason is I like the pool on the roof. Now I know it's raining, but I was hoping to catch a couple of hours of rays over a few days.
But what is the pool at the Dawin like?
