I will be in bkk at the end of march and will stay until first week of April. I got a very good recomendation from Dave who is veteran of this board and stayed at this hotel 12 times already. For that rate and location, I think its best for me since I will conducting some business and later play. I really don't want my non bg to see that my room is over looking nana. And having thermea right on my step door, it would be nice to grab the late night sanuk if i get lonely

The Thermae is underneath Ruamchitt Plaza (ram-shit).
The Manhattan is approachable through the back door of the downstairs toilets of Ruamchitt Plaza.

I was at the MS last time (the only time) and I was very happy with it. İHowever, I don't mind trying out the Manhattan...new hotel, new location and new experience.
Looks like I could be in BKK at the end of Feb 2003 so I will try it out before you do.

I think it was open when I was there at the end of November but I forgot your earlier question so I didn't really check it out.
I get there next time on 25th January and can check this out in terms of quality etc. and let you know then if that is OK for you.

Very slack Dave. What were you doing that made you forget such a crucial issue. A man does not live by culture alone.
From what I am reading Manhattan seems to be a pretty good place to stay. I passed it several times in taxis on way to GP on Soi 11. Great location, and certainly wothy of consideration for future trips to BKK. If you think of it please have a look in just to satisfy my
curiosity.

Gents, what are the bathrooms and bath tubs like in the double rooms in Manhattan?
When I stayed at Majestic, I really liked the circle shaped deep tub and I happily fit two girls in there...
I know the rooms at Man will be quite a bit larger, and I look forward to that!
