The tubs at Manhattan are just the ordinary type.
So if you want two girls in there you gotta find very small ones. But in LOS that ain't difficult.
Manhattan has a limited number of rooms with a kingsize bed. The hotel reserves the right to book you into a twin room and allocate a kingsize bed, if available at time of check in. If they don't have, they will move you to the room as soon as one comes available.
I have only had a twin room on one occasion. Actually, the twin rooms are larger then those with one kingsize bed, and I had no problem sleeping in the so-called single bed with a TG. The single beds are not small.

I've stayed here before and surprisingly, the staff is quite friendly, the breakfast and vat is included in the price of the room. The rooms are spacious and it includes a safe. Furnishing is just average, and it includes a minibar that your gf can raid while you're in the shower. If you walk in....the charge for a double room is 1400 baht. If you book on the internet, then it's from 950 to 1200 baht. If you book a single, the joiner fee is 471 baht more. (don't ask me how they arrive at that amount)

Will coming into BKK late and staying at the Manhattan. Anybody ever tried the massage there? Would it be better to look elsewhere for first night massage in BKK? Thanks for the info.

Just a little more info. on Manhattan hotel.
Over the last two weeks I had two 3 day stays there.
I had booked these two periods on internet at 970 baht per night for double. I had twin rooms but each room had both double and single beds.
On checking out on the second time I asked about a further stay later in the week. I was quoted 1600 baht as the walk in rate for double. I could have taken the ten paces to internet and booked again at 970 baht !!! Why they have these rules I don't know. But the desk staff were smiling but not allowed to negotiate.
So it is a case of book on line or pay the high walk in rate.

Yeah this is a puzzling policy for sure Dave.
Seems to be common place in Bangkok. However in Pattaya and Phuket I found the walk in rate was cheaper than the advertised internet rate.

I had exactly the same experience at Novotel Lotus last month. I had booked through Planet Holiday and the hotel wouldn't extend at the internet rate. I had Planet Holiday's local BKK phone number so I just called them and they called back and confirmed my extension in 15 minutes.

So Dave and others, it sounds like everybody is okay at this siam hotel online service?
I know you are going through them instead of through the hotel, but is it the siam agency that we are making full payment to or is it the hotel?
Little confused I guess...
But I guess no one's had any touble with them....
And no problems with late check ins if your plane lands pretty late? 11:30pm arrival, 12:30am-1:00am at hotel

I booked this time with http://www.resorthotel.net
I paid in full to the agent using CC. They then sent back a voucher to present at the hotel, but the hotel never asked to see it. There were no problems with this agency

I forgot to add. On my second vist there, I was arriving very late from Hong Kong so I notified the hotel of late arrival. No problems
