f*** SMOKERS!!!!! Sigh... I went go go clubbing tonight, after having a really bad day, and while I saw quite a few gals that were pleasing to the eye (and one 10/10 that seriously almost caused a walk-by premature ejectulation but she was already taken so I couldn't try to get her), basically all the smoking at the Soi Cowboy area (Shark, etc.) made me give up and run back to safe air zone. Now I can breathe, but there's no babe next to me tonight. Humph.

hahaha. Actually, I got a girl from Tilac the first night. But she was like a 6/10 in results (I like her looks, very hot, but she was semi starfish, in the sense of 30 minutes later, wanted no more, "it hurts!", etc.)... So basically didn't seem worth a report outside of my end of trip report. But yeah, I need to get to a soapy or oily. Dr.Love recommended (if for FANCY oily, he did mention there were good cheap ones as well) the Posideon place, I might try that one just to start off high end. But first, HAVE to fix this hotel situation I am in. Off to the American Embassy.

Seriously, the f***?!?!?! The United States Embassy is CLOSED on the weekend???? We pay billions of dollars in taxes to support the Embassy system, and they can't even stay open during the weekend??? What, criminals and bad people don't do things to American Citizens on the weekend? Humph....
I want to take the time to shout out about two people that are really helping me. SaucyTim has been very kind, and has gone beyond what I would call reasonable with his attempt to help. Thanks, dude!
Also, there is a nice young man here in the Darjelling Boutique hotel (his card says his name is Chang, but EVERYONE seems to have Chang as a name, I feel like it's just a generic name to put on name tags) who was very nice BEFORE I started having trouble, and NOW is practically doing all the work for me in finding a room. So if you're coming to Bangkok and require a cheap room, Darjelling Boutique might be good for you, as long as you don't worry about safety. My first room had a broken safe and a door that did not shut properly and thus I didn't trust it. The second room had a major flooding coming from the toilet all over the bathroom floor. Basically the physical hotel physical plant itself is bad, but the folks here are awesome.
I have gotten a couple of messages on the message system, telling me not to be too picky, etc, and get out and have fun before my trip is over. Haha. I don't believe I have been too picky. First night I was here, I had spent something like 30 hours traveling, and I collapse in bed. Second night, I got the 6/10 gal. Third night I was out with Dr.Love getting a great tour that unfortunately caused my back to hurt so much I immediately went to bed when returned. And last night, I went to Shark and Callico (sp) and didn't see anyone AVAILABLE that I wanted (it was very busy, all the good girls were picked and I couldn't get into the mood to stay around until someone was available (the room situation was horrible, I didn't get an extra night at Darjelling until 10pm, I guess someone cancelled or didn't show up). But, don't worry guys, I will get girls. In fact, I do think I will be getting a room soon (11:30 am right now), and will then plan to hit Posideon tonight after a great massage and dinner.
Got to go, been hogging the free computer too long.

Daffy, my credit card is blocked, they seem to think my card was stolen... Never mind that I told them TWICE that I was going to Bangkok on a trip.
I went to the Embassy to see if someone there would contact my credit card company. As I am deaf, I can only make calls using text relay services. The one I am familiar with does NOT make any international calls, period. And I can't find any online that does. So, was hoping someone at the embassy would help me, as the credit card company probably won't accept a call from anyone else.
Agoda.com won't reserve a room using my credit card when it's blocked (obviously, of course they want money), and each hotel I walked into after checking on Agoda.com to see if they had vacanies, have turned me down saying they were full. Fortunately Chang at Dajelling Bouquet has come to my rescue and got me a room again, I think. Waiting for it to become available.

I like this thread and the guy so please dont take my obervations in a bad way.
1. Come on guys, post here dont use message system.
2. Why are you not staying at Nana, Majestic, or Ambassador hotels, all decent location budget priced places.
3. How does one go out of usa with only one credit card. $2,000 in travelers cheques needed as a back up,just in case. My first trip I took cash, t checks and 3 credit cards.
4. While many here poo poohed this guys deafness, I warned it will be an issue. Thais as noted by magnum are hard to deal wtih with all 5 senses working, This is not a knock on thais just they no speak english too good!
5. A girl who hurts 30 minutes into a session cannot be rated 6 out of 10. Dont be so kind as she not like you.
6. Go get a thai massage by a cute girl rather than making poseidon your next choice.
7. STOP WITH SOI COWBOY OR NANA GIRLS. not for a boy off the boat! Many say with all the choices in bangkok they are the worst value for the baht. I agree with this. Many nice prostitutes work here but their DNA just makes them rush through the whole process. Their dna makes them want to return to bar as fast as possible.

Some 11th hour pointers -
Get someone in your family to immediately check the balance of your credit card-
Then have them help you reactivate it-
Using the card get money out - and stop using it over the counter with Thais-
Dont trust those that befriend you- i
You may not like to hear this - but as others have alluded to your a vulnerable Target-
First trip and slightly handicapped and maybe trusting-
If I were you I would get a "decent room" find a relatively innocent girl _ * well younger and fresher-
Take her to dinner - let her shop for a 2000 baths worth of clothes - go movies - and enjoy whatever is left of this trip-
You can always send her to her room and squeeze in a few soapies etc -
But I feel your out of your depth currently and in danger of being taken badly-
Remember stay safe - get security - cleanness- (room)
And go low profile first trip-
Sorry it seems so far hasn't been that great-
Go do the GFE and stay safe
