There are different reasons for going to the soapies. Here are some of reason to use them vs the oilies.
1) Available car park (if you drive)
2) Accepts credit cards (I don't know of any Oily establishment that does, but if you do, please mention it here)
3) Large suite rooms with and larger jacuzzis, karaoke system (if that what you fancy)
4) In general more girls compared to most Oilies.
And if you don't want to get the assembly-line service, tell the girls. You have to give them some direction, otherwise they will just follow standard operating procedure. The best times I have had in Soapies were when I took the lead and didn't follow their script. Also, try 2, 3 or 4 girls (or more), it's fun! Remember, they accept credit cards...

Had a nice session at Long Beach yesterday. Soapy spit shined bbbj to finish in the tub, followed by baby oil bbbj on the bed + 4-5 positions + condom off after suck. Service minded mp gal. I usually tell myself not to tip when spending 3,700-4,700 a session, but sometimes it's hard to deny that extra effort.
I haven't found anything better than a nice soapy... other than perhaps a 'pretty relax' type kasai massage for a lighter menu... to break up ones days and weeks.
Trying to work through an engineering or software issue at work? Clear my head with a soapy. Have a few hours to kill while my car is getting an oil change? Change my own fluids with a soapy. Time to kill before picking up the kids from school? You guessed it....
and then there's Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Ash Wednesday, Mao Zedong's birthday, etc....

I have spent about 2 months every year for the past 8 years in Thailand. While I have been inside a few soapies, I have NEVER tasted their service. I keep waiting for a solid reason to follow through. The whole system of papasan and fishbowl is a bit much for me.
I primarily chose the oily massage place because the locations are ideal (so many great places close to Emporium) and the early hours they open. I know that for $2300 plus tip, I can have 2 hours of non-stop, full-throttle enthusiasm at a place like Mango.
What hoops do I haver to jump through, and at what price, to get the same satisfaction I currently get?

True, Soapies are hit and miss. You will get your FS but often with attitude and many times hearing "no, I don't do that"
However, the nice presentation and fancy rooms are sometimes worth the extra 500 baht or so [avoiding LaBelle and Utopia surcharges or a ripoff papasan at Cupidy]. But you will not ever likely be disappointed at Tulip, Mango, Snow White or Annies IMO.
When you hit at a Soapie it is a much more elegant experience. I had a lady at Utopia simply blow me out of this world one time. But returning to pay 4000 baht more than once is a deal killer for me given that I can get a great time down here in sukhumvit.
I am an Oily man, but the variety and possible scores at a Soapie are a nice diversion
You also meet a slightly higher class of lady at the Soapies as the college girls and models are there. That reminds me of the ability to choose a model from a magazine at Poseiden and by appointment see her. Now that is something the Oilies can not match.

The one advantage of Soapy over Oilies is that you can pay with your credit card. Which means you are getting sex on credit, f*** now, pay later. And you get mileage points too!
