Marriott does a good all you can eat and drink on a Sunday. Can't remember the exact price but I know it didn't break the bank.

Landmark do a good one for around a 1000, also last month they had an excellent Dim Sum all you can eat for 450B

I don't think PL69 referred with 'reasonably priced' to 5 star hotels.

Four Seasons has an incredible Sunday brunch. Incredible steaks, seafood, caviar, you name it they have it.. Drinks included.... it is pricey like 2000 or so but, if you do it right, you can work breakfast lunch and dinner in 1 sitting....

Peninsula Hotel across the river has a Sunday brunch that is a close rival to the Seasons but costs around 1500 (I think)

Dr Love,

You are absolutely right !

I am not thinking of buffet lunches / dinners at 5-stars hotels costing 1,000 to 2,000 bahts - too expensive.

My budget is about 600 bahts or less per head.

Any recommendation ?

Example 1:

Person A: Where can I find a very good car in Bangkok?

Person B: Go to the fancy dealers at Siam Paragon.

Person A: Not that expensive.

Person B: Then be more specific from the outset.

Person A: Right. Sorry.

Situation 2:

Person A: Where can I find a very good "reasonably-priced" car in Bangkok?

Person B: Go to the fancy dealers at Siam Paragon.

Person A: Not that expensive.

Person B: Then be more specific from the outset.

Person A: You deaf or dumb? Didn't you hear me say "reasonably-priced?"

PL69 said "reasonably-priced". Nowhere in the world, would 5* hotel prices be considered "reasonable" relative to the local economy.

Had he not said "reasonably-priced," then the replies suggesting 5* hotels would have been right.

So he was specific. It was some people who actually had problems understanding what he wrote.

Well, won't be the first time people don't read or understand what people ask for.

You are right, Smegma !

I have now stated that it should be priced at 600 bahts or less per head

Any recommendation ?

Thanks !
