IMO the Bourbon St Buffet is a decent value for quantity only. I like Doug and all but it's not very good. I've eaten it a few times because my expat friends think it's fabulous. If you've been drinking all day at Taffy's or something, it's just what you need. There is no good Mexican in Thailand. Shit, there is no below average Mexican in Thailand. It's worse than that. I know expats get sick of Thai food, but Thai street food is infinitely better. My parents retired in Fla and forgot what real pizza tasted like. They were snobs before back home and would go way out of their way for the best. In Fla all they could get was crap, so they fell in love with the best of the crap. They forgot what good pizza was like. wj

Agree with Wacky.... the quantity is good. However, the taste is below par.
You can take what ever you like, but it tastes all the same.

When in comes to Tex-Mex, my favorite place is Charley Brown's on the sub-soi of Soi 11. The only place that has decent refried beans.

Agree with BK on Charley Browns. I have had a few different things there, chimi's and burritos. Coyote's isn't bad either, didn't say great but isn't bad, good margarita's anyways.
