... much of what is on the menu is on the buffet, but most important are the ribs... the only drawback is that the ribs are served with BBQ sauce slathered all over them... their BBQ sauce is an incipidly sweet concoction that covers-up the otherwise great smokey flavor that makes their ribs so great... surprising that the new management (Thai v. farang) don't get that... they will 'hold' on the sauce upon request, but you have to wait a bit longer for a fresh batch.

Yes, the Bourbon Street Tuesday buffet, I second that. Carbs are available, but I can eat more protein with my tortillas and taco shells, as my doctor recommends. Salsa is healthy too.

The latest addition to Ratchadapisek Road's dining scene, Two Forty Eight Cafe & Bar restaurant introduces the "All You Can Eat Pasta & Noodle Mania" promotion available every Friday and Saturday for lunch and dinner throughout this month ( March 2011 )
At 159 baht per person, diners have 90 minutes to do justice to a sumptuous spread of 20 choice noodle dishes cooked in Italian, Thai, Chinese and Japanese styles. Highlighted appetisers include penne pasta salad with boiled egg, macaroni and cheese salad and sour and spicy glass noodle salad.
While those looking for soup will find joy in udon noodle in Thai-styled hot and spicy tom yum, noodle soup with fish ball and Japanese noodle in soy sauce soup, aka shoyu ramen.
There is also yaki-soba, Shanghai noodles with chili and basil, phad thai, yellow noodles with shitake mushroom and large noodles with chicken. For Italian mood, you can have spaghetti, penne, fettuccine and tagliolini cooked just the way you like.

Throughout the month of March 2011, the lakeside restaurant at Queen Sirikit International Convention Center features a special Vietnamese food corner for its international lunch buffet.
Among a wide variety of culinary fares from all over the world, diners will find during the promotion classic Vietnamese treats including naem nueang (grilled seasoned pork served with rice paper and fresh vegetables), khao kriab pak mor (soft dumplings), goong pun oy (minced shrimp roll on sugarcane stick), pho (noodle soup), fresh spring rolls and crispy crab rolls, to name just a few.

Free flow Beer 210 and they keep you toped up. Wine @ 300 FOR 3 Glasses.Great service! Band from around 7 PM.
Sunday Brunch 644 and then you get a ticket for Sunday Dinner. Did not try that yet but bought a ticket at the recent travel show for 444 Baht. So will try soon.

... I've not done it (yet), but this appears as a seafood-less version of the very well turned-out buffet served in the Atrium Restaurant upstairs, where the price is much higher... both prepared in the same kitchen, I am sure, so my bet is that it is a good quality.
... a heavy carvery buffet, featuring a wide selection of beef (AUS), ham, lamb, chicken and appears as a good value at the mid-price point.
... until I can try it and offer-up a review, maybe someone who has tried it can comment.

Decent Japanese buffet at King Kong on Larn Suan... next to Embassy Tailors about 150M south of Ploenchit. Very crowded... often a line to get in... lots of youngsters and great people watching. b450.

It's very good, Thai food, real meats, yorkshire puds, prawn cocktails, thai food, even pies. Small desert section but hell after the starter and main it don't matter !
I may be wrong but I believe it includes a drink too, so Heineken pint or glass of wine or whatever. Also, Happy Hour at the bar during the same time, buy 1 get 1 free.
VERY reasonable and they have valet parking through Landmark.
