Miss Thailand 'Beauty' Pagaents are fascinating, if only because you feel you could stop virtually any BTS train and round up a far more appealing bunch of contestants. For that matter, I think I could round up a better bunch from the office.
And if you could have your pick from just one of the major BKK shopping centres... well, the mind boggles. The weeding out process could go on forever.
I think all the Pagaents prove is that the Thais don't really grasp just how spectacularly beautiful so many their women are. They have one kind of preferred 'look' (imho not a very inspiring one) and seem to stick to that. It's a huge bonus to be able to look at TGs through farang eyes.

Sadly, W, the unlimited quantity of gorgeous TGs would quickly overwhelm any farang dick (even if invited to do its stuff!) Reality can be so cruel, so harsh.
Still, we have to look on the bright side. The small-scale sampling we get to do is some sort of compensation. Actually it's quite acceptable compensation, now I come to think about it. In fact, I'm cheering up already. And at least the eyes never tire...
