Good to hear your story, but like you said, who to blame but yourself. I mean sh_t, you saw all this happening from day one but you let it keep happening. How can you call all tg's are the same when you were the stupid one here. I can definitley say all are not the same and thankfully I can also say that all farangs are not as stooopid. I cannot believe anyone would let such in your face acts of disrespect continue for so long and repeated each and every weekend. I mean, I could understand trying to hang on to something if there was something there to begin with, especially if you had been in a long term loving relationship from day one, even if you had kids or something, but she put you in line to go with another guy for 6 months before you got your 'chance'. I bet the guy that left was thanking his lucky stars to see you coming.
You are either taking the piss out of us, or you are one of the top 5 fools I have heard about.

You are not alone even with your new knowledge and awareness. I still yearn for a dame that was every bit as bad as yours and maybe more.

As for all Thai girls being the same.....we can only hope they are not but mostly are all variants on the same theme to differing extents.
To state the obvious.... the overwhelming majority of Thai girls would not want to be with the farang they are with if that guy was as poor as their Thai equivalent. So even if they enjoy your company, its still just business. We all like to dream a little tho...

What about the TG's who want to be financially independent & that means continuing to work in the go-go's, Mp's..whatever? Is this acceptable to most men?
After all if she loves you does it really matter what she does for a living. I am sure there are plenty of prostitutes in western countries who have genuine boyfriends. I suppose the test is whether or not you 'support' her in any way. If you don't pay her BF and/or tip for sex then you may genuinely have a relationship. I am not sure if there are many of these around. I have no answer to the above.

Thanks for sharring your story, unfornately its a common one............. Its a classic tale of Thai girl culture and not just one thats down to BG's it allways amazes me how TG's can be so lazy and spend there days sleeping, eating or chatting with friends. Its very rare to find one that spends the time studying or working.

I would not categorize a housewife as lazy....if she does her job...clean,cook, laundry....and/or raise kids if they appear. If she does not do these things then..YES she is also a lazy piece of sh_t that needs to be ejected too.
I have seen too many very attractive ladies in the US that are allowed to not lift a finger to better the life of the couple...just because they are hot..I despise people of this sort and have little, if any, respect for the others that allow them to mooch off of them. Being a hottie is not the same as being a productive member of society or a productive mate.
I was simply suggesting that "One of" the many things to look for in a quality person to get into a relationship with includes being productive.
You can all have the 10s that demand to be treated like princesses....my life has been quite fulfilled by the 7s and 8s that I have been involved with and they help to take care of me too in some productive fashion. Just part of the ladies total package that makes her attractive IMHO.
