A GREAT thread with some wonderful stories. We have just received our second Notice of Action (NOA) and if all goes well the petition wil be forwarded from the National Visa Center to the U.S. embassy in one or two weeks. At this point looks like February or March for her arrival. I'm getting pretty excited to say the least. I look forward to seeing some of these stories first hand and adding a few. I would love for her to see some of those tigers.

It took us about 6 months total from submission of forms to arrival. I would be happy to answer any questions for you. just let me know your email.
Best of luck, I am sure things will go smoothly.
My only advice now is just to make sure that all paperwork is tighty, because if not then it can delay the process by months.
You will get a kick out of her little things she will notice that you dont even think twice of.
coming home from the airport in Atlanta, I ask my wife what is different so far (she had a 4 hour layover in New York), she said "Streets are so Clean" and "many many black people." I laughed at that one.
Please dont take that as racial at all, my brother in law is black and I have a gay sister. I would say my entire family is very diverse and open mineded. It was simply an observation she had upon arrival.

This is a very nice thread. I think it is the little things that make a TG so irresistable to us besides the obvious beauty. Any of us who prefer the GFE instead of the ST will relate to this.
I am hoping to add to this thread in Feb or Mar as my visa app is in Laguna Niguel for processing.

As I write this my wife is eating a pomogranite that she picked from our neighbors tree (free tilac) and watching american football (college).
dont let them get started on the lottery, the jackpot in america is now 197 million and she has her mother and entire town of pitzanoluk working to decode the jackpot number. I laugh and say your crazy, she retorts with "If you think that and I win, I not give you 1 baht" too funny.
I told her that she cant get the money without american citizenship (not true, she has legal visa and ss#), but it makes her give that look of "oh boy."
More to come I am sure.

To you guys that get away with this you suck. My tgf is jealous and I get in trouble about once per week because she has a "DREAM" I have new lady. I then take 30 minutes on the phone call to Thailand defending my actions. She also knows I have a friend who works at Majestic Suites. She has never met her but every time I check in or check out she thinks I am flirting with my friend. Drives me CRAZY. She then pouts for 1/2 a day. One of the desk girls has a boyfriend in California and they are starting the Visa process so she was asking me questions. Yikes!
On a lighter note. We received the paperwork for the Notice of Approval from the California Service Center and I asked if she really wanted to come to America. The conversation went something like this:
You stay Malaysia, I stay Malaysia.
You stay Germany, I stay Germany.
You live Japan, I live Japan.
I asked, What if I live Alaska?
Her reply, You live Alaska I stay Alaska one minute and then I die.
One of the funniest damn things I've ever heard a thai girl say for sure.

I got exactly this from my Thai wife also,,,, before we where to marry I tested,, ahh honey I get offer of job in Malaysia,, you happy stay there,, yes saami.
Month later, My friend offer me work in rUSSIA, YOU OK FOR STAY THERE? yES SAAMI,,, Then I was sure she not after just Aus visa.
Anyway on the jealousy thing,, I HAD big trouble with that also but eventually tried reverse phycology and it has worked a TREAT,, saami you got girlfriend at work,, NO mia I got 217 g/f at work 110 blonde Aus, 60 Chineses etc etc,, and laugh.
Keep this up for a few months, also ask her about her B/f,,, ahh you have 22 b/f now,,,Is Beckam still #1 ?. You will get it all to be light hearted and all is smooth as a babies bum in a few months.

Hi all,
I am with you mel. My wife is jelous as shit. I must travel on business alot and she makes me swear (sabaan) that I will not cheat. I am off to san fran nxt week and she is worried as hell.
I must say, and I am not proud, a couple of incidents happened in Thailand that instills that insecurity. Hey "when in Rome...."
By the way, she is getting a kick out of reading everyones reply's and she laughed out loud about your question, "is beckham still #1?" that one could not of been more spot on.
I had a poster of beckham with his shirt off in our old apartment in BKK (her poster) and my mates that came over thought I was so gay, and I caught alot of shit, over that one.
