I know that this should be in the Phuket forum but it is still to do with Dentist`s.
I had a fall/ slip in the shower resulting in five of my teeth becoming loose.
Speaking to an expat mate of mine he told me of his dentist,so I paid a visit, well after a clean and scale he placed a brace on the teeth in question after an x ray on the teeth that is and three follow up visits and removal of the brase,total cost 3500 bht.
Bloody cheap cause if I had the same thing done here in Australia it would have cost $3500 aud for the same work.
I know where I`ll be getting my next check up done

Need a recent 2006 Dentist update? Anyone have preferences to local Bangkok dentist?....as to cost and good dental work, let alone a simple cleaning.
Many just go to nearby Bum.
How long would one have to make appointment prior? better yet walk-ins.
Dentist in Amerika charge mucho insurance and takes weeks for even a simple cleaning appointment.

Same here, this is competively priced (so my Thai friends living outside Bkk tell me), top qualty place. Many caps and other work, even a wisdom tooth pulled with no pain or complications

I got a top and bottom dentures from P C Dental clinic
on Rambutri road Kao san road.
English price was 1000 to 1500 pounds PC 124 pounds or 10000 Bht.
went three times and now in UK and they fit perfect.
totally reccomend.

ok, Looking for 2008 update. Took the girl to the Dentist and she needs all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. The guy quoted 4k per tooth, but as I looked on 2 other sites, that is the highest end price in the market. Anyone had good experiences with dentists recently? I'm guessing things have changed since the last post in this catagory

Both lady and myself have been there a couple of times and I am impressed by the professionalism and the high standard. Not the cheapest, but better and less expensive than my home dentist for sure. Plus the feeling that they really do care about you and make sure the treatment is very well done. I have heard this is the no 1 clinic used by most tourists and ex-pats and I can understand why!
Just lately I had a really big problem with a molar tooth which had to be fixed with root canal treatment. Not the easiest thing especially when there is an infection. However they did great and I was quite happy at that time!
