*the heavy deposit plaque or gum disease case will be needing gum treatment more than one visit (30 minutes) and longer period of time.

For your information, We offer patients the promotion rate 50% discount for Laser Smile whitening from 20,000 Baht to be at 10,000 Baht or 10% discount for Brite Smile whitening from 18,000 Baht to be at 16,200 Baht. The Home Whitening costs 8,000 Baht including bleaching trays and one set of bleaching gel. The extra set of bleaching gel costs 1,200 Baht per set.

Advanced Microscopic Endodontics is a new technology that emphasizes visual information, rather than tactile information. Endodontic Specialists are discovering that every facet of endodontics is better, safer, and easier. The root canal treatment usually takes 2-3 visits and 3-7 days finish, it depends on severity of root canal infection which sometimes it will take more time and visits. If your tooth has been treated by root canal treatment, it may need metal post and crown restoration.

*a standard crown or bridge porcelain with non precious metal is not available here.
Regarding the porcelain crown or bridge work, you can choose the metal frame work underneath porcelain as high precious metal (85% gold) or semi precious metal(55% gold) or full ceramic Zirconia without metal, but we have not accepted a non precious metal because of the under standard quality. All crown or bridge work will be made in our dental laboratory at the sixth floor of Dental Hospital. The prices are included laboratory fee.

I can give high marks to Dental Hospital on Soi 49 -- I had to have a root canal done there on my last trip a couple of weeks ago - and while not the most pleasant experience (mostly because I'm a huge pussy when it comes to dentists) it was not horrific, and I was treated with the usual professionalism and kindness I have become used to from the dentists and specialists there.
Great place, very professional services, and they are very good at controlling pain.

i can assure you the price is half what I have just paid for for urgent root canal work in UK.
Am not going to pay £450 to have a crown fitted in UK!!!

That's the problem, you're comparing those prices to the UK, instead of comparing them to the regular Thai prices, and those are way above normal Thai prices.

They may be way above Thai prices -- but I also shopped around prior to settling on Dental Hospital Soi 49, and they were the facilty I felt most comfortable with.
Yes, I could get a root canal done for 3,000 Baht, or even 1,500 Baht - and I'm sure that if you need to count your Baht and Satang, then those are valid options -- personally, that's not the case, I went with the option I felt most comfortable with, and that was still 1/4 of the cost (or, even less) of a comparable facility in the US.
(couldn't care less about the color of the tooth)

When I had my work done this is the dentist my dentist from the States recommended to me. She met him lecturing at a convention in Las Vegas. My dentist from BKK was giving a lecture on current methods in implant dentistry.

18 months ago, I had an infection caused by a cracked root (which I did not know about at the time). I was recommended to see a particular dentist who was teaching at Mihadol School of Dentistry near Victory Momument.
While I did not get the bridge work done there, I had a lot of work done for a total of about 100 USD. I ended up getting the bridge done elsewhere mainly due to time constraints but, if you have time, some of the best dentists in the private practice places in town also teach at Mihadol. Go there for 80% less than what you pay at most places.

Last time I was in Bangkok I went to Bangkok Smile on Asok. The woman there told me I needed 4 fillings.
I was going to get them done, but in the end I didn't have time, so I went to see my dentist back home when I returned. He told me I only needed one.
The filling itself was also to replace another filling that had come loose. One that I had had done in Thailand about 3 years previously.
