Very true about the quickly changing rules. Luckily, most crackdowns don't last more than a few weeks. Alas, someone else will have to verify whether or not the pharmacy I mentioned is selling; I haven't (sadly!) been in Thailand since August...

... I've generally had bad luck buying at street pharmacies what are knock-off drugs... "original" packaging and on, and on, and on.
... I've taken the real Viagra, and the copies are simply not as effective... not by a long shot.
... has anyone been through Bumrungrad and been prescribed Viagra, or others?... a good bet that Bumrungrad holds their pharmaceuticals to a strict standard of authenticity.
... whjat was the cost to see the doc and get the prescription?... and the cost and description of the drugs themselves?

I disagree. I have never, ever had a complaint against the effectiveness of the [Indian] Penagra widely available in LOS.

I bought Kamagra and Penagra from that pharmacy all during the month of October (and also bought the Kamagra gel, which I didn't like so much) and it all worked fine, same as the Indian generics always have. They sell a lot there, so what they have doesn't sit on the shelf a long time. Been buying there for years, and not yet had a problem, knock on wood.

... Ballsburstin... have you a chance yet to compare the effectiveness of the Indian knock-offs with their western progenitors?... I've done that with USA doctor prescribed and sourced Viagra, and the locally sourced Kamagra... the authentic Viagra was materially better... same dosage... same conditions.
... also... does anyone know if a person can build-up a tolerance to Kamagra over time, so that it grows less effective?

probably the bigger one. They sell all sorts of stuff there, including meds, booze, etc. As you look at the shop, there is sort of an island of stuff in the middle that extends to the door and there is a glass counter on the left side and the right side of the shop. The glass counter (about waist high) on the right side of the shop is where I ask for Penagra, and they have it along with Kamagra, and Kamagra gel. Plus just about everything else, I'm sure.
BTW, there is a Watson's on the other side of the street down below the Nana Square Starbucks. Anyone know if that Pharmacy sells real Viagra? I've bought Celebrex (real stuff) and a few other meds for friends there.
