I have a friend who about 20 years ago was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Slowly but steadily he started to deteriorate. Then many years ago, when he was still able to walk by himself without any help, although with a limp, he started to use human growth hormone. Since then his deterioration stopped. He has remained the same for a long time. There was no reversal to a previous better state, but the advance of the disease stopped.
If HGH can do such a thing in the case of a disease like MS, I wonder about the benefits to healthy people.
I understand it is very expensive and that you need to continue to take it forever if the intended benefits are somehow related to anti-aging and stuff like that.

no analogy here... what is good against a desease is not necessarily good for healthy people... absolutely not!!! think about chemo therapy...

I would be carefull with this stuff. We already flood our bodies with all kinds of shit, why add more?
I am statins, sleep meds, boderline Diabetic, boderline high blood pressure... so my doctor says to me "just excersise and lose some weight and all your levels will return to normal.... you know what? She is probably telling the truth. Stay healthy, eat well, don't drink too much and you would probably see dramatic changes in your health. As for someone with MS or some other medical problem, to each their own. If it works for them, God Bless 'em.

no analogy here... what is good against a desease is not necessarily good for healthy people... absolutely not!!! think about chemo therapy...
The analogy is in the case of MS stopping the deterioration of cells of the nervous system. As to healthy people the deterioration of cells that occurs with aging. Or haven't you noticed that old people tend to do things differently than young ones, and often not by choice but because their bodies do not allow them any longer.
But yes, it seems that such comparison is mostly fueled by those interested in selling the stuff.

Remember a time-tested remedy for superficial cuts (which is what this thread started out with). Saliva works well to heal in such cases. But since we are dealing with LOS, it would be a good idea to apply one's own saliva and avoid infection, rather than fall for the temptation of getting a licking from a TG.
