Best way to drain the battery - play videos using Safari. Any iPhone compatible porn site will do, or just playing lots of YouTube (not using the built-in app, but rather via Safari).
Also, crank up the brightness.
LCD backlight is 80% of a mobile's battery consumption. Just reducing the backlight by 20% increases battery life by an even larger amount.

So, we have the following:
1) Set brightness to full
2) Turn on all networking, Wi-fi, 3G, Bluetooth
3) Turn off the auto sleep
4) Play some music (this may be useless as the video will override the music).
5) Watch youtube video using Safari

It even turns on the Torch LED light, and intensifies computing to really drain it. That would do it.

My employer, a telecomm co., gave me an iPhone 4s, I insisted on keeping my Moto Droid.
If they can every get off the facetime BS I might try using one for more than just a pre-cursory glance.

I thought they were supposed to be the most intuitive and easy to use.
If that's the case then using one shouldn't be a learning experience. You or Apple contradict themselves...
I like my Droid & I don't regret the decision. It's my choice & there's nothing about clueless in the equation.
Here in North America if your phone isn't rooted or jaibroken you're locked into the provider like a bad prison warden.
Apple keeps much closer eye on the jailbroken society than gOOgle does on rooted Android phones, at least that's the scuttlebutt about it.
If you knew what a pain in the ass it was, and you probably do, to take on AppleCare at our facilities. They were just a great big pain in the ass IMHO.
Why is it all ApplePhiles think everyone else isn't making an INFORMED choice when they don't shell out for Apple products ?
or even worse in my case, it would have been FREE, but I did not want it, still don't & might never. I've used them & read the reviews etc., but I still don't like them.
Oh, we also had to load an Activate-Only copy of iTunes on ALL sales terminals for iPhones, a pain in the ASS.
I don't need any special apps to activate a droid or any other thing I wish to do with it, wide open to me, unlike the AI phone.
BTW AI in Thai = bastard, so an AI Phone = bastard-ass phone, LOL
You must be reading some Apple propaganda to believe that the Motorola Droid is a substandard Android phone, DOH !
I have experience with quite a few, including some WinMo phones, & I choose the Droid every time. The WinMo phones tend to hang, HTC has poor reception, and the Galaxy by Samsung completely LOCKS up when multitasking.
Why is that FaceTime is only available over WiFi & why is it you can't have a spare battery for an iPhone or remove the memory for use externally ?
My Droid was FREE too BTW, two of them & 2 extra life batteries with each. It was quite nice to navigate me around when I was visiting NYC not so long ago.

While the systems are easy to use, there is always *that extra knowledge* that makes a tech guy very valuable.
Obviously, this is not something you are interested in, nor is making yourself into an invaluable resource in an all-iPhone environment.

- iPhones, iPads and other iOS devices no longer require iTunes for activation. iTunes activation still works (and in some cases can be faster), but spending 10 minutes with the new customer to walk him through the self-activation provides some valuable time to help familiarize the customer and answer some questions.
- How is AppleCare a "pain in the ass"? Describe? Are you offering AppleCare or is this about deviced being brought in for AppleCare? iPhones are not covered in Thailand, as Apple (or rather, the carriers) do not make AppleCare available - thus they would not be compensated for AppleCare exchanges (despite it being a "Global" warranty extension). Write an email to Tim Cook's office (tcook@apple.com) explaining, politely and professionally, your issue and procedural problems. It will get resolved within 48 hours.... and yes, using my name (no, not "DaffyDuck") will help. PM me if you intend to go that route.
- Apple has been selling unlocked, contract-free, non provider-locked phones in the USA since February of 2012. There is no need for jailbreaking to get away from your provider. Any 2 year, or contract-complete iPhone can now be unlocked by AT&T via a simple phone call. I just had all of my older iPhones unlocked that way, and increased their resale value by +$200.
- FaceTime has been limited to 3G simply for quality reasons. You can hack it to work over 3G, and it looks like crap (exactly the same crap as Skype video over 3G). On WiFi FaceTime looks awesome. The 3G restrictions drops in September with iOS 6, by the way.
You would know most of this, if you had opted for the option to expand your knowledge, particularly if you are in a business where you are surrounded by co-workers on iPhones, and dealing with customers buying iPhones.
Yes, a Droid might be preferred by you, but the majority of customers looking for a smartPhone are better served by an iPhone. Unlike the plethora of Android phones, all with their own quirks and negatives (as you listed), the iPhone offers a simple consistency of something that "just works".
