Hello everybody.
I will be going to Hong Kong in March. Has anyone been partying in the Wanchai area as of late?
What is the best place for dancing that has a large selection of girls? Also where are the best places for massage and how much? Interested in places with Filipino and Korean women.

Me too. I will shortly be transitting through HK for a few days. I'm not interested in the overpriced Go-go scene. Is Neptune still the place for Flippers. What about hosties? Is JB's still around (excuse my ignorance - I haven't been "in play" in HK for 8 years). What about Lan Kwai Fong? It wasn't my scene when I lived there but maybe it has changed. Thanks for any info.

For HK info: 1) click on Last 25, then 2) click on Hong Kong Tonite. It's not much info, but at least it's all in one place.
I was in Wanchai in December, and Fenwicks continues to be the busiest club in the area. Strawberries was under renovations and was supposed to have reopened this month. Lan Kwai Fong was very busy when I was there, completely packed with expats. The upstairs of a bar called The Fong was a very cool place for a drink and a cigar.

Guys, I don't mind a bit of horizontal folk dancing, but as for the other kind, you might try Dusk Til Dawn in Wanchai. It has live bands and there is usually a fair selection of FLs, but not until reasonably late. Lan Kwai Fong is still for the "beautiful people" (in my humble opinion), but there's not a bad kebab shop there for having a cold one and a perv on the talen walking past.
The bar girls tell me that Strawberry is still closed. Joe Bananas is still open. Apart from that there's the usual action in any amount of bars.. some have all Thai girls, some have all Filipinas, because many bars found they don't mix.
The English-language papers usually have entertainment sections listing the dance hotspots, like 18th floor of New World Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Neptune 1 has closed but Neptune 2 (around the corner from Delaney's) has a wide selection of Filipinas, Thais, Mainlanders etc. There are plenty of massage parlours around but a rub and tug will set you back between HK$500 and $1000. Does that cover everything?

Thanks, that will do for the short time I will be there. LKF, Discos in New World, Excelsior, etc. never did anything for me when I lived there for the reason you stated. An enthusiastic fillipina maid on her day off or a hostie. Now your talking.

Delaney's is an irish pub, Srawbs is - or was - a bar where FLs gathered, Makati was an upstairs bar with live band that used to really heave on Sundays but I think it's closed now. Neptune 2 is also a bar and a gathering place for FLs.
I know the Wharney Hotel and it's handy. There's also the Century Hotel in Lockhart Road. Not far away are the five star hotels like the Grand Hyatt.

soi8, stayed at Wharney last year. Apart from the high season price, I have no complaints, GF. Fenwicks is just a few steps away, in fact most of the night spots mentioned are all nearby. Neptune2 is definitely FL bar, reminds me of Thermae in a way. Met a couple of girls that I knew from BKK. One of them from the Beer Garden! It's 1,000 B in BKK, and HK$ 1,000 over there.
