There are a few Harbourview hotels. The Renaissance Harbourview and The Harbourview International are right next to each other and near all of the Wan Chai bars. The Novotel Harbourview is West of the others and not really walkable to Wan Chai. Cabs in the downtown core are pretty cheap.

Spent last week in Honkers and on my one night off from business decided to to see if I could find some of the FLB's that I had read about. Had a couple of beers in the Bridge on Lockhart to start with. Great place to get a feel for the scene as you can perch on a bar stool and look over the street where there are a half dozen night clubs including New Makati. The meet and greeters are fairly aggressive trying to drag punters into their poor (and expensive) imitations of Bangkok night clubs.
Walked around the corner then to Neptune 2. Had heard about from someone and can confirm it was overun with girls of every shape, kind and variety. They seemed to split up into groups - one side of the bar Thais and the other Filipinas. The usual Filipina band was blasting away at one end making it hard to converse.
I wasn't seriously looking and flirted with a couple of Filipinas including one that turned me off fairly quickly when she wanted an email address. Was on the way out when was accosted by another Filipina that sort of melted into your arms. Wouldn't classify her more than a 4-5 but nice attitude and an OK body.
I made some small talk and was going to continue towards the exit when her friend grabbed my other arm and started a high-pressure sales pitch which was basically two for the price of one. Well what was guy to do when you are being hugged from both directions. I always have been a sucker for twosomes. The bill - HK$1,000 for LT including one of the best CIM blow jobs I have had.
More expensive than Bangkok sure but overall I was very happy with the outcome and more than a little depleted when I saw them out of my hotel room at 9.00 am the next morning.

Bar fine in the Go-Go Bars was/is HK$3K (Baht 16,000) plus she'll want a tip. And they're crap compared to Thailand. Lots of hassling on the LD's
The FL girls are indeed asking HK$2k but will negotiate. A mate got 2 lovely Indonesians for HK$1.5K.

As long as you stay away from the FL hangouts in Lockhart Road (Makati, Neptune, Fenwicks and Strawberry's mainly) you will be OK. Take her to Lan Kwai Fong, she'll like that (no obvious FL's. More a GF place) or JB's (but be careful - a few Thai working girls in there asking and getting top dollar).
A few decent bars along the street from JB's too.

Was in "Dusk till Dawn" in September and got ripped off with the old $1,000 note short change scam, ie. gave $1,000 for two drinks and got the change for $500. Filipino Manager (new) got very nasty when I complained, and he threatened to get the security goons to throw us out. Will never go there again.
My advice is to try to avoid using $1,000 notes if possible, but if you do give one, make a big thing of pointing it out to the waitress in front of your mates.
I posted the above on another thread in October and have heard from two other brothers who had the same experience - caveat emptor!

Was in HK this past September. The only club I didn't see mentioned was Boracay, on the same street as Delaney's. There were tons of Filipinos inside and hanging around the entrance. Neptune 2 was positiviely packed with Filipinos and Thais.

Two killed by 'date-rape' drug in HK motel

HONG KONG : Two US businessmen found dead in the room of a luxury hotel here may have been killed by prostitutes using a notorious "date-rape" drug, a newspaper said yesterday.
Riichard Victor, 51, and Paul Cherry, 45, were found with white froth coming from their mouths Friday afternoon of the US $ 600 ( RM 2,008 ) -a-night Grand Hyatt Hotel by hotel staff.
Police are now investigating whether they died after returning to the hotel with two women and being given lethal doses of the "date-rape" drug flunitrazepam, or Rohypnol, the Sunday Morning Post said.
There were no signs of injuries on the men or ransacking in the room, and one was found slumped partially on a chair while the other man was found dead on a bed, the newspaper said.
A number of men have been robbed with the use of the drug in recent years in the territory, usually after picking up prostitutes from bars in the city's notorious Wan Chai nightclub strip.
In most cases, the drug is slipped into a drink, and victims report visiting bars and then waking up to find they have lost large sums of money with no recollection of what happened.
In 2003, a senior Finnish police officer died of a heart attack in Island Shangri-la Hotel here after being administered the drug. The Chinese prostitute suspected of giving him the drug was never found.

HONG KONG : A 20-years-old Filipina has been arrested following the death of 2 US businessmen alledgedly given a "date-rape" drug in a luxury hotel here, a report said yesterday.
The woman was arrested hours after Richard Victor, 51, and Paul Cherry, 45, were found with froth coming from their mouths in a room of the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday.
The two men are understood to have visited a number of "girlie" bars in the Wan Chai red light district, the Hong Kong Standard reported.
The Filipina was arrested 8 hours after the discovery of the men's bodies after Police studied CCTV footage from the hotel, the newspaper said.
