Also, in line with this thread, around the Sutthisan area, one can also find the Baan Pooying type, as mentioned earlier. A bit seedy, the description seems to match, but I haven't been over there in years. I think I posted about it in another thread somewhere.
As always, speaking Thai and having a pleasant demeanor does wonders at these establishments. Same as before, service is hit or miss, depending on the charm that you can pull off with the particular girl. But that really goes for any place here, G Club, oily, tubby, etc.

Well, as I think seajohn and kakuka mentioned earlier, it's not for everyone. Charm and personality go along way at any other establishment, but even more so in these situations.
That said, can have I gotten a good experience for 500? Yes. It depends of the girl and I hit it off. Have I gotten a bad experience? Yes. The girl usually wants to make her baht fast and go.
Is it different from the Patpong, Nana, Soi Cowboy experience? Usually. Girls are mostly local, sometimes a bit more naive, sometimes very professional. Just depends on what you prefer. You do get the odd tubby girl looking to make some extra money with some moonlighting of her own.
This has kind of been the reasoning behind the sideline phenomenon that came up at the tubby over the last 6-7 years. Looking for something a bit different, not the professionals that do the business day in day out 3-4 or even more times a day.
Sidelines were only supposed to be fresh girls, mostly inexperienced, lookers generally, but would give you more of a GFE that the fishbowl girl who might boof and blow like a dream, but does it all the time. Of course, it seems to have morphed quite a bit from its original incarnation.
But I digress, it is different. I've made some good connections with a few of the girls and it has been lots of fun. They have their own reasons for doing it and a friendly boink is always well received as opposed to having to deal with harsh customers.
I think this is the "off the beaten track" experience we are really discussing here in this thread. Just my thoughts.

Hi NF, as quack quack illustrated on the previous page, price and experience do not necessary go hand in hand, as I'm sure you're aware 555... VSoCal makes some good points about, what shall we call it, personal charm and familiarity with Thai lingo and ettiquette in these situations which are numerous and make up so much of the P4P in Thailand that most foreigners never dabble with. And his comparison to the original sideliner concept is a good one, in my opinion. Mixed experiences, but all in all something a little different. Never done the Lumpini chickies but might be worth a shot sometime. Take care.

Todays experience at Yaowarat.
Out of work early on on the bus to the taxi arriving at texas. Took a walk around to see what was around. I started on the main thoroughfare in China Town but towards the end of Texas street the girls began to become noticable.
Picked two at the family mart towards the end of texas they hung out in front of the ATM's maybe a good idea? 500b each for one hour together one go with each although I was struggling to get both off in short time. They offered to go for 400 one girl for 30min
Turns out both were Khmer girls who live outside the city and work till about 3pm every day. One who was small and cute with green contacts had some brutal scars, unoticable wiith clothes. She looked like she had been split like a lucky chicken bone at the thighs and knees. Anyways focused on her cute face and following took the other a cutie but a biit plump.
Both spoke Thai quite well so we communicated via a lingua franca. they worked me for extra and the room was 180 expensive for the accomodations. The short time hotel is located on a side alley in the middle of Texas.
They were both starfish but with a little guidance could be led to do more I just had them ride. 100 extra for BJ to the plump one was necessary. They were both very nice and friendly but often reverted to using more Khmer.
In my opinion I can get better service and experience for my money at Bier Garden but thats with one girl, most of the time. Plus I get really bored with the same ol' scenes
Anyways it was ok, But there were less than a few lookers around texas, after my two pops left Texas headed toward Hualompong I turned right and then left towards hualompong and found a cutie, so you might want to do a lap or two in the area first.
I may be back on a slow day to look for the cutie, It seemed to be mostly old chinese guys on the prowl.... no suprise it is China town.
Next I gotta check out Suan Lum to check out VSoCals advice. Or maybe Saphan Kwai.

Another thing to consider is the som tam girls around Hua Lumphong. Used to be talked about in the Thai media a few years back. Never got a chance to try it myself though, not quite sure what the modus operandi is for this scene.

Always night times saw lots of girls hanging out around the somtum baskets and once in a while Thai guys sitting with them chatting. From what I could gather at the time, the MO was sit down, have some Sangsom, and discuss the deal to go to a local shorttime room. Kind of intriguing in a way.

Okay, time to appeal to the collective wisdom of this particular thread. I've been working on a project just outside of Bangkok in the Putthamonthon/Salaya area. For those unfamiliar, it's at the end of that long over pass that starts off in Pinklao or Rama VIII Bridge.
Any intel from this side of the tracks as far as entertainment is concerned? I know that this probably belongs somewhere else, but I think I have more trust in the insight of those interested in the particular topic here.
Insight is always appreciated, thanks in advance....
