At the end of the overpass... not sure. If you're talking about the Pinkglao area, though, or up Jaran Sanitwong (or down) there are literally scads of fun places.
Just walk around at night--I think you'll see a lot.
North of Pinklao a little road runs parrallel to it, behind Pata; you'll find massage places there. On Jaran north of Pinklao are some karaoke places. On Jaran south of Pinklao, plenty more... and further south some massage.
Really, I often consider moving to that neighborhood.
Is that where you're talking about?

That's sort of the area. I know there is a CP3 there as well.
I was actually thinking about further out, all the way at the end of the Phuttamonthon flyover, near to Mahidol University. Getting out in that neck of the woods is almost upcountry, so was curious about options way out there.
I still consider Pinklao to be part of the metropolitan area, so not a bad place to consider living. Easy access via river and bridges so not too bad....

You're right, of course, that area is still in the greater Bangkok metropolis. But it is just enough off the central routes to add to the nightlife some bit of that highlight that this thread is concerned with, I feel. I'll be spending a little more time up that way due to business in the 12 months, so maybe I can produce some more specific info.
However, that area you're talking about... I see now... Wow, that is out there a bit. On the way to Nakorn Phatom (a town with hookers walking around the central park sidewalks at night, like many towns). Sorry, buddy, haven't been in the neighborhood you're referring too, but I'm sure there's something! 555

Living on Sai 4 and working very close also. I have seen many places, but been cautious due to my ol' lady.
Ok, I have not partaken of any of these places, but have seen them. From Mahidol head down Sai 4 past Phuttamonton. There are one or two massage places on Sai 4 all in Thai ( นวด ) but after you reach Phet Kasem turn right. On your way to Big C Aum Yai which is where Aum Noi turns into Aum Yai and probably past ( not been yet) there are several short time hotels and karaoke/entertainment joints.
I am available this week for a trip, can read and speak some Thai if you want to meet up. I have a friend also who lives and has been around the area, says prices are very good.
If anyone is up the old lady is in Ubon till Saturday night.

Did some research last night on Sai 4 and Petkasem Aum Yai. There are a few places including large karaoke, massage, pubs, and coyote.
past Big C on the left has two massage side by side, the one called first lady (in english was not friendly) and the hawker guys said no lovin, just massage. Next door had Bangkok Pub with Coyote and some hotties but slow when we went in. Staff said available for take out. We went to the massage in the same building which has traditional, and oil. Trad 200b and Oil 500 negotiation with girl is up to your skill. I will try out one girl I met who was with sugar daddy next time.
They have a girl May who is staff very helpful, but almost no english so Thai is helpful. They say they have about 35 girls and only 5 on display at the time, with a couple cuties already taken, but very receptive to me.
Went over to Sai 4 and found two place on the right side of the road coming from Petkasem going to phuttmonthon. All of this is in Thai only checked out the one called Asia* (*) something and it was very Thai and upon entry all the people laughed and chuckled out farang farang. Friend took a hottie last one in fact as it was past 11 so I waited for him, and met with her after to schedule for today. She seems excited to get my money too, but was hanging out with her mom who also works in the place.
My friend says she was great and it was 20o massage plus extra, he paid 1,000 but one pop. This scene was very Thai oriented and in First lady and Asia many girls ducked out of sight.
If is an adventure and there are some sweeties to be had, not sure on the financials for extras. (one hawker told me 2500 to 3000) but I am sure this is just his farang rip off quote with his fee included)
I will be off to check out the scene more and if anyone is interested to give me an excuse to go out hit me up with a pm.

Re: VSoCal in Salaya. I got laid in Salaya last September, but it wasn't the cheapest in Bangkok. It wasn't the most expensive either. It was in the massage joint attached inside one of the resorts out there. I'll look up the resort's name if you're interested. Cute woman from Chiangrai. Cross what river??? After central bangna is sirinakarin, which have plethora of MP and GC. Then after that you have Theeparak rd to the south and airport to the east. Which have a lot of thai club and pubs.

Yeah, as you keep heading down Bangna-Trad towards Chonburi, you eventually have to cross the Bang Pakong River. That's the area I am talking about.
I know the stuff around Srinakarin, but just wondering if anyone had experienced anything near the main highway...
