As for teachers -- they have historically been shown, on average, to be some of the most clueless individuals when it comes to either items of technology, or just plain grasping items of a common sense nature -- seems like a perfect fit.

Which is why you are still refusing to provide the simplest corroborating evidence for your claims - like a link to your dealer, with his claims, for example...
You already stated that you paid 'a lot less' than $1,000 for your iPhone 3G, so it won't be one from those countries, right...
So far, the prevailing bets have you as basically either plain lying about your claims, or having fallen for a scam.... My personal gut feeling is on the lying part.

well im happy to admit im f**king lost, its all very technical, who would have thought just unlocking a phone was such a drama
its nothing like this with a blackberry!! just buy one and stick your sim card in it, simple
surprised apple dont just charge $500 for a handset only unlocked and then sell millions more
why are they so fussed about exclusive carriers etc
do they really make that much more money doing it this way?
