jus a quick update here for those who are wonderin what happened to the former Top Ten. well heres' good n bad news.
first, a new establisment has reopened some weeks back and named Top 5. there was much hype before the opening as the owners paid a total of S$15 million to buy over and renovate the place.
the interior is pretty impressive but sad to say, the place is dead!! the only thing that brings some life to this place are the handful of gals who take turns to dance at the bar poles......pls note there are no real stunners among them. perhaps it was a monday night when I was there...but compared to the former Top Ten which will be packed with feeelancers by midnight, there was no such sightings.only a few Vietnamese and TGs strolled in during the 1.5 hours when I was there.
cover charge are S$18 for the first drink on weekdays and S$22 on weekends.
dress code: Guys: smart casual
Ladies : SEXY
1 year membership at 2k for 3 champange n 6 bottles of liqour. there is another 1k membership and ladies membership at S$488... not too sure about the freebies though.
nice place to hang out if u already have a gal for the night.....
no tequila Mamas' here.... but a bunch of young indonesian gals running around with trays of shooters. one thing I found very annoying is that these gals are very pushy and will pester u to buy a drink.... for THEM!! excuse me.... heres a gal coming to u with a tray of shooters, pester u to buy one at S$10 each and she will drink it for u!!
there rest of the night was spent in Ipanema....which is still the place for gals watching and shopping!!

be aware that sammyboy forum is more for the local Sgn/Malay crowd with their own shorthand and lingo. Sometimes difficult to read if not familiar with their style of talking.
Also, always do alot of searching/research on their site for answers to your questions before posting as alot of flaming goes on there.

Awww... too bad. I was a member in Top Ten for 4 great years while I was there. I hear it's the same owner as Crazy Horse, not sure how true that is.

Yes, I believe your right, it is the same owner as the Crazy Horse in Orchard Towers not the Cabaret Show down at Boat Quay which is related to the Parisian one!

Yeah, Top Five has its problems. If you get there3 b-4 10 pm, you only pay $7s, I go there...get stamped and come back later, But the place is poorly designed and is too loud. Hopefully in time it grows a new identity other than what it has now. Always worth a run through though becuase there is a group of girls that look down on Ipenema and won't go there.
